This is, if anything, too powerful of a robot. It's a bit complicated to figure out the details, and there are quite a lot of details. It is, however, full of features and kept the little ones highly entertained. One caveat: it requires a one-off barrel end charger, so you have to keep track of it's charging cable. Why they wouldn't just use a standard USB connector at this point is beyond me. ... show more

This is a fun toy for the older kids. It is a little complicated to use (even for me) but my older grandkids are figuring it out. Has options for how you can use it, have it follow you, sings songs, and has a remote but you just need to sit down and read the instructions or play with it and learn all it does. Pretty good size for the kids to enjoy. You will need a hard surface for it to roll well on (carpet doesn't work). ... show more

I was surprised by how light this was when we took it out of the box and it looks very nice. Due to how light it is, I worry about it taking any serious tumbles as it seems like the joints would easily break. A few things to note: -Speak slow and clearly or it will not understand the commands. -Images on remote are a confusing. For instance the button to go forward is actually pointing left. -When sitting idle, it performs random actions so that was highly amusing to watch. -Sensors are at chest height so it will run into anything that is below that level. Apparently it also really likes to try to walk off tables. All in all, I would say that this is a highly amusing toy and would recommend it. ... show more

    • A bit flirty or suggestive in it's verbal responses (White color Robot)

My daughter works as a nanny or daycare specialist during the day. The young person she works with is the perfect age for this toy and was excited to see it and get to play with it. Setup was simple enough and getting started wasn't too stressful though you can see some obvious translation issues in some of the documentation that you would typically need to look past if you were not more familiar with the native language from the manufacturer. Getting past that point you get to see that you can use voice commands or voice sequences to converse with the robot and it will then answer back. It's in those answers that things are perhaps a bit suggestive or flirty. Young persons probably would not be all that bothered by it, but the father of the young person my daughter works with, and my daughter as well, noticed the voice responses and thought that someone may have had a little too much fun in stringing those responses together. Not anything naughty, but definitely a bit flirty and suggestive. Older children (teens for example) may hear some of the interactions and snicker a bit at what they are hearing. Others (adults) may think that whomever was programming these robots may have been auditioning for development of some adult robotic bedroom toys. This is otherwise a pretty fun toy and the young person my daughter works with, as well as my grandkids (a little older, but in the same general age range or close enough) thought it was a fun toy and enjoyed playing with it. It's really nice that this toy gives young people a chance to learn a bit along the way -- setting up programs with the robot and teaching it various routines, setting or expanding on the foundation of logical thinking. ... show more
