personally, I remove the band and just so onto two extra clips on the sides and wear it as a clipping because the hair on the top of my head is too thin to be able to cover the halo band. It works great for me. They blend in perfectly. It adds length and volume. And because the band is thick, put the bottom half of my hair into a tiny ponytail and clip it underneath the halo so that way I don’t have those, awkward shorts visible on the side of my neck. And the hair matches my color perfectly, it’s soft and shiny. These halos last me for years because I don’t wear them daily, I only wear them a few weeks at a time in between my tape ins. I've purchased many different brands of extensions and have been left disappointed. When I discovered Full Shine, I wasn't expecting much however upon delivery of them, I was thrilled. The color match was exceptional, the quality was better than those I've spent hundreds of dollars on, but the most important thing to me is the after sale service. They reached out asking if I was happy with the product, was there anything they could do to improve. No one does that! I am shocked! I actually got the perfect match for my hair! Perfect color, perfect length, you can't even tell I'm wearing the extension. I put it on almost as soon as I opened the package. It's easy to wear, easy to "install"... if you watch enough YT videos. I will be adding the two extra clips to make it more secure on the sides, but I just love my new hair! I got the balayage ash brown mix platinum blonde brown ombré 16 inch. You measure from the top of your ear to the end of your hair to find the proper length. My hair is all natural in color, one length, too thin to layer and I do have bangs/fringe across my forehead (bangs are better than Botox 😂), plus I have a small head, and this halo extension worked perfectly. I do need a good 2" trim so will probably be ordering a 14" in this same color to wear after. The hair is soft and brushes easily. I will eventually curl it and will update this review after if necessary. I am wondering if I can use a heatless curl method on it, maybe using water and oils? ... show more

While the color and the weight were good, I Had my stylist who does extensions all the time attempt to put this in for me only to discover that it is such a narrow halo that it does not even come within an inch of my ear on either side around the back and I do not have a large head. We moved it up to circle the back crown and it still does not help the appearance. It does not look as pictured and ends up looking like a hank of long hair in the back of my head.
