  • Simply the best value available in waterproof gear. Skeptical? Don't be. See below.
Size: Medium Color: Khaki
15 years ago on a fishing/camping trip to remote Canada a good friend brought the first Frog Toggs I ever saw. Frankly we filleted and fried him over this "paper" rain gear for a week in remote Canada. She time this week it WILL rain on us out in the boat and at camp. "yer gonna get wet Jerry you cheap cuss". Swell let it suffice to say he did NOT get wet. He stayed perfectly dry. Just as dry as those of us in $350 worth of GoreTex. Remember ladies, these cost $20 for the set (Jacket & Pant) So naturally I needed a set & have had one inhan ever since. Any drawbacks/negatives ?: Yes a few. The material is NOT Tyvek, like so many have said. It feels like Tyvek in that its is like a paper permeated with something. Its a non-woven product like Tyvek. Its a little stiff when you first get it. When it wears in its less stiff & less so when in the rain. Does it work? Yes it works as well as super expensive stuff. It just says something goofy in it instead of Patagonia, North Face or Orris. And you won't be as stylish as this other apes. They also are a but more fragile. Jerry tore the arm on a sharp branch getting out of the boat. Honestly that may have occurred no matter what jacket he had one. Who knows. But frankly I've torn just about every expensive rain suit I have bought over the years. Lots of stuff to snag camping & fishing for a week. Remember this cost $20! Positives: They are $20 for a set gang. OK if you trash them the first year, but you probably won't. Maybe keep your GoreTex cause it may be more comfortable, but have a set of these too. I am 5'11" - 175 pounds and medium fits perfectly over normal amount of cloths. If you will be wearing it over other semi heavy cloths, get a size bigger. Otherwise they run a bit on the large size assuming it is over other cloths. Buy a pair a full size larger to wear over heavy winter cloths. But remember they are a bit more fragile than some other waterproof gear. But you know not as fragile as you'd think. They actually seem to wear well in the seat and knees. This Tyvek like BREATHABLE stuff is pretty tough. Tougher than you think it will be. ... show more

  • Good Fit and Lightweight
Size: Small Color: Blue
I have just received my Frogg Toggs so I have not had a chance to test them in the rain. Will update when I do that. For now I can tell you that the Small size fits me perfectly. I am 5ft 7" tall and weigh 145 pounds. The pants are wide enough at the bottom to go over my rain boots and the elastic waistband is just right for me, even when wearing over clothes. My waist is about 34". The coat sleeves are just right and have elastic at the wrists to help keep water out. The coat also has just the right amount of room in the shoulders. The only thing I see that might be a problem is that the zipper covering flap that is supposed to help keep water out, has no staps or velcro anywhere on it to keep it closed properly. Something at the top of it would help a lot. Will have to evaluate further when I can get in the rain! ... show more

  • Great waterproofing! Size is just what you normally wear.
Size: XX-Large Color: Blue
I bought these as emergency wet weather gear to keep on my motorcycle. They pack reasonably small, so I can just leave them in the saddlebag all the time, and I'll have it when I need it. Tried them out this morning, riding for about an hour and a half through thunderstorms. I even got a huge puddle splashed onto me, and still stayed dry the whole way. Well the parts covered by the suit were dry :) I bought 2xl to wear over my XL armored motorcycle jacket. That was bigger than I needed to get. XL would have been plenty big enough. ... show more

  • Good cut, bad colour
Size: Medium Color: Carbon
It's cut is good for both jacket and trousers, but the color is awful: I like gray and have a lot of things in gray, but this one is like dirt stocked to your out-ware. Material is declared to be breathable and rain-proof, will see later as I haven't used it yet. It's really lightweight and comes in useful carry bag, so that you can easily find it in your backpack. ... show more

  • Bought a set for my husband it works so good
Size: Medium Color: Khaki
These is the best lightweight rain gear, It easily packs in a small pouch, is easy to put in a backpack and keeps you dry during even a heavy downpour. It can take gallons of water coming on it and you don't get wet. It also doesn't make you sweat when wearing it like a lot of rain gear does. LOVE this set. ... show more

  • Good for the price.
Size: Large Color: Green
These work good for rainy weather. they are somewhat light weight and could probably rip easily. I have used them twice now and really like them. You can pretty much order as usual for your size. they are not heavy duty but I like the flexibility which is a good trade off for the freedom while fishing off my boat. ... show more

  • Handy to have
Size: XX-Large Color: Khaki
Super lightweight! Not for work or anything like that, keep this suit in my pack for camping and canoeing! Waterproof without getting hot inside like other rain gear I have! There are better quality frogg toggs rain gear for work etc. but this is light in weight, packs easy, great for emergency use
