I love the French Toast brand. Everything about these pants are great, BUT... these clothes run big. If your child is a 16, be ready to get a 14, MAYBE even a 12. Initially, you may have to go through the return process a time or two before you find the size suitable for your child. I think it's worth it though. The price, quality, and fit of these pants are great for my little one. My son is short and husky, so it can be hard finding him some suitable pants in store, so French Toast is definitely a good to! ... show more

My son is 5 but big for his age. He has a broad chest/torso, large legs and butt. It’s very hard to find jeans or nice pants that don’t squeeze his stomach when he sits down. Usually I have to get him a size 10 and the pants are too long. We got the size 8 - they fit great and look really nice. The length is great too. Bought these instead of the Lands End my kid's school requires/recommends. Lands End isn't easy to buy and return with especially when choosing a pant size. I went to Amazon for and easier shopping experience. I've recommended these to all the moms at school. Good quality. They fit better than the Lands End uniform pants. They are slightly long but my 6 yr old but it was an easy fix for me. They wash well too! My boy is rough when he plays and messy when he eats. These are still in fantastic condition after a ton of washing and oxy clean soaking lol. I'll be buying these going forward ... show more
