we have a 6 yo on a taller side. he is size 7-8 tall and size 6 wide, if this makes sense. we got the 7 pant and it's a bit short on him, so looks a bit funny/ boxy. it's a model that is better suited for average to short height kids, but we have to use it for the uniform. the quality is good, lasts half a school year. pants are comfy, you don't necessarily need a belt for them, the waist is stretchy ... show more

These pants fit as expected, looked as we wanted/expected, held up beautifully through multiple rehearsals, shows, costume changes and washes.
