I originally purchased this for my son to take to camp. I misjudged his sleeping bag size however and did not get the right size. I still use it for camping and it works great to cinch all the clothes down to an easy to carry size. I WILL BE buying a bigger size for the sleeping bag!!

The Large size worked well for my synthetic (not very compactible) 20 degree sleeping bag that weighs 3lbs 13oz (when in the bag). The Medium size worked well for my synthetic (more compactible) 30 degree bag that weights 2lb 10oz (when in the bag).
