The best advice I can give as far as making sure to get the correct size is use the measurement chart they provide. According to the chart it says to measure your foot front to back and use that number to purchase the correct size. I normally wear anywhere between an 8.5 and a 9 depending on shoe or boot, in these boots I purchased a size 8 and it fits perfect. I would have never expected to wear a size 8 but the measurement chart is accurate. Regarding the boots themselves, there is no insulation in the plain Cordura zip style so keep that in mind, they are probably good for warmer weather but that’s why I purchased that style. The zipper on the side is awesome, allows you to lace up the boots then conveniently unzip to put them on or off, that was another reason why I purchased that particular style. I threw in a pair of odor eater insoles and they are very comfortable without compromising fit or being too tight. I have not worn them in any heavy activities yet but I have no doubt they will perform fine. ... show more

So these are some very good boots for just about everything, I have the thicc boots, I had the thin ones before and they lasted about a year with wearing them to work. I'm a landscaping foreman and I walk about 8-12 miles a day thru gravel, river rock, wet grass, mud, they get covered with wet grass when I line trim. I used to purchace boots in the 160 dollar range and the stiching would always fail within 6 months and look like hell after 8, these boots here lasted until the tread completely wore out, thats all I ask for in a boot ... show more

I was a little hesitant ordering these boots. I'm active duty Air Force and the boots were within regulations but did not want to pay over $100 dollars for name brand boots. I took a risk and have been using these boots for about 2 months. No issues so far. They are pretty light and comfortable. I do not have a job that requires a lot of walking, marching, carrying or transporting heavy equipment. I am not out in the elements so it may be difficult to say how they would fair if you were to use these boots in the maintenance field. I would love to see a zipper option but I know that would up the price. I ordered a decent pair of inserts but the ones that it came with are not bad. They hold up well and do not require a long time to break in. Just needed something to last my last year of service. Do not regret this purchase and would recommend. ... show more

these are very comfortable. They are true to size ,I added an insole. They look nice. And they are slightly insulated. i would not use these for hiking. these feel good on cement, only used for few days, feel sturdy. no regrets…good price for value…only thing missing is a zipper

Bought these for my Husband for work. He is used to getting big bulky work boots like Carolinas and they just seem.so "heavy" so i found these. My husband said they are very comfortable. Definitely does not look as sturdy as his other work boots but we will find out. He is very happy with them.

I normally wear a size US Wide size 10"-11" and wasn't sure so I went 10.5" and it fits great. They're not real lightweight. kind of workboot weight. maybe a little bit less but they have good support. they're shin-high bottom of the calve. took the weight off of the ball-joint without even getting arch supporters was what I notice right away. I still recommend getting a arch support with carbon material over plastic for any shoes you get especially if you like hiking. I wore them in the rain last night and they seemed dry but I wasn't focused on that so I gave it a 4 star. Hope this helps. if you're not sure of their measuring being accurate I can attest that it is just fine. I think a 10 would of fit a bit too snug and I have really wide feet and these are nice and wide. ... show more
