The bags are ideal as a replacement for the small indoor bag toss games like the EastPoint Sports Go! Gator. The bags are 3.7 inches on a side, and each weighs 3.8 oz. The outer material is fairly thin and has a smooth texture, and will probably hold up well with careful use. But ... the bag just plain feels lumpy. So I took one apart to see why. It turns out that the gravel used to fill the bag is not the culprit -- it's the inner bag in which they sealed the gravel. That inner bag is 4 mil thick plastic, and is intended to make sure the gravel doesn't leak out. Probably a good idea. However, the overall size of the sealed bag is a bit larger than the 3.7 inch outer bag. They had to fold some of the plastic over to make it fit -- thus creating the lump. Factories that make this kind of product sometimes lack good configuration control, so other batches may have used more appropriate inner bags. My result may not be typical of all. I found many other sets of bags like this on Amazon, but it was tricky confirming the size. 2 inch, 3.5 inch, 5 inch and 6 inch bags are all available, but you sometimes have to dig through the reviews & questions to find the true size. ... show more

These are pretty heavy so I don’t think they are appropriate for kiddos under 10. Teens and adults will do fine. They are very well made and much better than the ones that typically come with yard games.

Actually bought these to play an old game called Toss Across that my husband found while cleaning out his parent's house. Think the grandchildren will enjoy playing it.
