This is only my second adult paint-by-number project and boy, it looks way more difficult than my first one. This is not a beginner project, the canvas is 13x9 and the majority of the number spots are TINY. (see photo) It will take a very long time to complete. The canvas came folded, so I had to iron it to get the wrinkles out. The kit came with 3 brushes, 24 little paint pots, the D rings to hang it, and a black and white picture of the numbers in case you can't read it on the canvas, plus a relatively useless miniature picture of a completed one. The seller's instructions try to be helpful, but I have no idea what "For completed digital oil paintings, please dry the paint on the canvas in time to prevent the paint fading to reveal the numbers below or make the paint discoloration" means. I read it and thought, "What??" I still don't know what they are trying to say. If finicky, teeny tiny detail is your thing, this project is perfect for you. For me, I think I have to put it away until I have more experience painting. ... show more

I love paint by numbers, and this one was no exception to that. This particular painting was very relaxing for me and my anxiety lowered substantially while I was doing it. It takes a lot of patience and calms down the mind. The acrylic paints are very good quality and they’re just like in the pictures. They drive very fast so even better. This is an ok paint by number but not great. It says for beginners but I have done several paint by numbers and this one shouldn't be just a beginner one. The spaces are extremely tiny for most of the numbered spaces so I feel like it should at least be on a bigger canvas so that the spaces are easier to see and paint since the numbers are very tiny. I spent more time dabbing the paint into tiny spaces than actually painting them. The canvas is a more paper type than canvas that will soak up the paint so it tends to smear or run a little bit instead of being part of the canvas. The paints are ok and weren't globby when I opened the tiny pots. I suppose for less than $10, you can't expect a lot but it would be nice if it was a little better quality. ... show more

The spaces are pretty clearly printed. The picture is really cool and it comes with a couple of different brushes for finishing the painting.
