Bought this on a whim as it was on sale. I'm used to using a smaller Kabuki brush to apply my foundation and concealer. I thought this brush did very well in spreading the foundation out evenly. However, as I have acne and tend to pick, I need to build up the foundation and concealer to cover the red spots. I found it difficult to do with this brush, so I'll stick with my Kabuki for makeup. That being said, the brush is VERY soft - my kids kept playing with it! Because I got it on sale, it's not worth returning, but I love the idea another review had of using it to apply self-tanner. This seems like a decent product overall, and I love the color. However, I find that this brush is clumsy to use. I just don't have enough control over the brush. My face is not a flat canvas. It has contours and the brush is poorly designed for use around your nose, eyes and chin. The traditional barrel shaped brush is far more effective and easier to use on your face.
