Since getting the phone in August, I have now put on two screen protectors. After about 3 months, the screen protector ripped in the fold. It scared me, thinking my screen broke, but it was just the screen protector. With regularly opening and closing the phone, I'm not surprised it eventually spilt. I am surprised it lasted as long as it did. There were no scratches on the actual screen when I took the protector off. I don't think it would protect against a drop, but basic day to day scratches are fine. ... show more

Final update: Feb 21 2025 The screen protector is again splitting on the right side of my screen at the hinge. I don't recommend purchasing this product. Update Feb 14 2025: Within a week, the 2nd protector also split in the same spot on the same side. I specifically focused on shifting the protector toward the right side to prevent it from catching on the fold mechanism. I left it on for a month because I was irritated and didn't want to do another install lol. I just finished applying the 3rd protector in the set. **I will re-review this item after I install a 2nd protector from the kit** Jan 8 2025: I meticulously applied the first protector on Dec 30 2024, no bubbles, no fibers, no issues! I was very excited about how clean the application was because the protector that came on my Z Flip 5 had lifted along almost the whole seam right before Christmas (I got my phone Aug 2023 and still had the OG protector). Unfortunately, yesterday I noticed that the protector split right at the seam on one side of my phone and it's just kept spreading, even though it's only been on for a week and a half. It's possible the protector is shifted infinitesimally closer to the edge on that side, but it is almost impossible to tell without magnification. I'll re-apply and hope for the best, but I don't think I could've applied this more precisely without special equipment 🥲 ... show more

3 sets of protectors come in a box which is good considering you are likely to waste at least 1 of them while trying to figure out how to apply it :) it comes with a small plastic to push out air bubbles. The edges started to come off in less than 24 hours. it is probably due to the incorrect size. the original screen protector does not extend all the way to the edges but this one does. it should have been smaller. ... show more

    • An Inexpensive Edge to Edge Screen Protector - 12 Pro Max
This screen protector is an inexpensive alternative to Apple’s very own Belkin screen protector. Not only does the Fotbor protector come in at a whopping 1/5 of the cost of Apple’s version, they also give you two! The privacy screen offers optimal discreteness in situations where one may not foresee the gaze of prying eyes. The only caveat being higher brightness lvls may reduce the effectiveness of privacy screen. I’ve encountered some issues with button responsiveness, but this may just be due to my inexperience with the larger iPhone. Fotbor included a plastic guide to help lineup the screen protector and it’s phenomenal! The right side of my screen protector is slightly lifted off the glass...but this is an issue I’ve come to live with in other protector. Prior to writing this I broke one of my screen protectors and the Fotbor protector flexed for awhile before breaking, the durability is there folks. ... show more
