  • Trick for thinner heads
Style: 3.25
I read the reviews before buying my first pair ( yes, repeat buyer) and noted someone said they are relatively wide. I bought them anyway - and yes they are wide. However, I figured out an easy fix. Place one small drop of "shoe goo" ( or other thick glue) where each arm will hit the frame. Keep arms from frame so they can dry - leaving a small "bump". Be sure to let this dry completely before pushing arms against frames (like when wearing). This small bump will force the arms inward enough to keep them snug to your head. ... show more

  • Good fit. Cool color.
Style: 2.5
Spring loaded which is good.

  • Cheap, durable and ugly.
Style: 2.5
I am not easy on readers. The frames have some flex. The nose piece is molded plastic, no adjustment needed (or possible). The lenses seem somewhat scratch resistant. Small quibble: they fall off too easily. The ear piece does not have much curve.

  • Comfortable for extended wear sessions
Style: 2
These live at my computer desk. The lenses are large which is great for the screen, but I would not wear these in front of people because of the lens size. They are too big for my face. I bought these after having a very good experience with the "Foster Grant Men's Modern Scooter" glasses. Both are very comfortable for extended periods of time, but I still prefer the Scooters in most situations for their medium lens size and style. Also, although I can't yet speak to the durability of the IronFlex model, the Scooters have proven to be very durable over time. I am not kind to my cheaters. ... show more

  • Not the same as the ones I purchased at CVS
Style: 1.25
For some reason, these are very flat, and very wide, enough so it barely touches my head and falls off very easily. All 3 that I purchased (at the same time) came this way. The one I purchased at CVS looks to be identical, but they are a full 1-2" narrower at the ear piece and it stays put nicely. Unfortunately this design is resistant to being bent to put some tension in them. I've tried flexing the center but it won't hold the shape, and the lenses pop out. I can virtually tie the ear pieces in a knot and it doesn't change shape. I thought maybe these were counterfeits, but I can't see any other difference in the glasses, they would probably fit well if I had a much bigger head. Laying face down on a table, the ear pieces each point outward, all 3 sets. That said, these are great readers if they fit you, very light weight, very durable, that's why I ordered 3 sets. ... show more

  • Great flexible glasses
Style: 2.5
Getting older, I need reading glasses. I usually buy the cheap ones that come in 6 packs, but when I take them fishing, I end up breaking the frames in my pocket. So I went shoppiing for a more rugged frame that would bend as I move and sit. These are great. Flexible frames that sit great, don't get distorted, and are comfortable for long periods (while I try and retry a pole or untangle some line). Great glasses at a good price! ... show more

  • For Big Heads
Style: 2.5
These are fine and seem like they will be a good “beater” pair of glasses. But they are quite wise and the ear hooks don’t angle enough so they slide down when I look down. I might try heating and bending them. Overall, meh.
