This costume runs small. I am a size 8 and it barely zips, and I would worry about splitting the zipper -- forget wearing layers under it. I could barely fit a thin thermal shirt or normal weight tee. Too bad it doesn't come in several sizes. It's cute and fine for the money. I paid about $22. Costumes can be so expensive! The arms of the spider are stuffed plush but the fabric for body of the jacket feels cheap. I wear a women's 8 and I ordered a Large for a loose fit and it was still there right in the sleeves tough to zip up. Last minute purchase for a costume. I usually wear medium sizes so I thought a "standard" size would fit. But this up-to-size 14/16 fits more like a small; it's quite snug around the mid section. It is cute. And if you wear medium sizes, it does stretch enough to zip up, but it's super tight, not exactly the most comfortable.
