    • Works great... but advice after 5 months use

Update: I still say this is a good faucet. However, after 5 months, suddenly it had little water pressure. I am usually religious about keeping owner's manuals but had lost this one. I removed and cleaned the strainer on the end. I checked everything about my house's incoming water pressure and everything else I could think of. I discovered that, when you unscrew the head from the fitting at the end of the hose, there is another strainer. This one was full of what looked like either black plastic or charcoal particles. Once I cleaned that out, it was fixed. Manufacturing issue? Don't know. But our water does not have those kind of particles elsewhere. This was easy to install except for the exceedingly tight fit of getting three hoses and a connector through the washer and nut (keeping in mind I have done this before). It looks and works great. Oddly, it improved the temperature options of my water supply and the water flow and pressure are also much improved on both settings. And the price was fair at the time of my purchase. Tip: the instructions do not mention that the braided hose with blue stripes is for cold water supply and the one with red stripes is for the hot water supply. ... show more

I am rewriting this review after getting a second unit. The nozzle hose of the first unit did not slide easily up and down the core pipe. In the second unit, it did. Having installed and uninstalled this model two times trying to rectify the excess friction in the first unit, I was able to install the second unit pretty fast. And once properly installed, the faucet works well and looks good. I take off one star because the instructions, while pretty clear, are slightly incomplete. 1. The unit comes assembled, which is nice because this way you know how it is supposed to go together. However, you have to disassemble it in order to slip it through the hole in the sink (or countertop). 2. You cannot get all 4 hoses out of the 3 rings (rubber washer, metal washer, threaded nut) until you remove the longest black hose. This makes room to remove the steel covered water supply hoses that have compression nuts on the end, and then the short black hose (that has a plastic connector on the end) can be removed with ease. 3. After pushing the hoses through the hole in the sink (or countertop), the 4 hoses have to be reinserted through the 3 rings. This is the reverse process of step 2. That's the tricky part of the install. The rest of the steps are clearly illustrated in the instructions. There's also: 4. The unit contains a small hex wrench and set screw. I think these are spares. There is no information about them in the instructions. There is a set screw in the faucet handle and maybe this can be used to adjust the orientation of the handle. The instructions do not explain and the faucet worked fine for me without messing with this. That said, unit looks nice and the water flow is strong as the faucet it replaced. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This product works and looks great but about 2months ago it started not switched from spray to stream. This morning whole using the faucet it came completely apart. The spray head broke completely off. Photos attached shows the final faucet after it breaking.

    • Don’t blame leak on faucet…especially if you have an older home or use ALOT of hot water…

So, want to share that we installed it and all was well except we had a small drip on the hot hose connection. We thought it was the faucet so went to Lowe’s and bought a Moen. Same problem! Even wrapped some silicone tape, switched out washers (pain in the a**) So my awesome bf figured out it must be the actual hookup hot water valve that was needing some work probably just a new washer. BC it’s an older home and who knows how long the previous faucet was on there with a lot of hot water use and just bc we switched it out it was enough to be un tweaked so to say. So I had my plumber come and switch out the hot water valve unit and voila no leak. I think it’s a great low cost faucet but can’t speak to the life of it bc unfortunately i kept the moen which I paid $200. But for the price you really can’t go wrong. So when you’re hearing leak in these reviews hopefully my review will be helpful in understanding why. ... show more
