I bought this for my daughter’s crib since it didn’t come with the conversion kit It’s worked great, she can get out on her own, but I find that I need twin fitted sheet to accommodate the bulky size I will end up getting the bar for conversion bar cause she’s one and I worry about her falling.

This works well. My son was occasionally falling off, and he hasn’t since we got this. I did find that it is a little snug trying to get sheets on. So you really need to have sheets that are loose fitting, and preferably deep pockets. Otherwise you may not manage a sheet over it.

Loved that it didn’t have a nasty smell upon opening. No waiting for it to get its shape, took it out the box and in 5 minutes I had it under the sheets. I’m transitioning from the bed rail to this bumper for my daughter that’s not a crazy sleeper. As for my son that is a crazy sleeper, I’m not too sure this would keep him from falling at night, I still left the bed rail on his bed. My daughter rolled off her bed after taking a nap a few weeks ago so I started looking for a bumper/bed rail for my daughter’s bed. I like the performance, stability and ease of installation of this bed rail. Simply lay the bumper and cloth across the bed and cover it with the fitted sheet. The bumpers stays in place well since the are sewn into a long fabric that lays across the bed length. When our our lil girl sleeps on the bed, her weight keeps it in place, plus it has grip on the bottom of the bumpers. It works perfectly for keeping our daughter from rolling out of bed. The bumpers stay put with no sliding or shifting. The bumpers were vacuum sealed and rolled tightly packaed together. As soon as I opened the sealed bag, the bumpers immediately expanded to full size. I did leave it sitting on top of the bed for a couple of hours, to make sure it was completely fluffed. It was pristine with no odors. Placing the bumper under the fitted sheet is as simple as it sounds. It fits exactly on the the length of a single,full, or queen size mattress. We use it on a queen size mattress and with standard fitted sheets. I believe the manufacturer does recommend deep sheets. The quality of the bumper is excellent, being firm enough to prevent my toddler from accidentally rolling out of the bed; while also being soft enough that she can comfortably climb over it to get out of the bed on her own when she wakes. The bumper is tall enough that I can’t imagine a small child being able to accidentally roll over it at all. I recommend this bumper set! ... show more

These are great bumpers! They fit my son's bed perfectly. His sheets are extra big, so if you have sheets that fit just right or a thick mattress you might need to buy sheets with deeper pockets. I love how soft these are. The attached sheet really helps keep them on the bed.
