    • Desert riding — so far so good

I purchased these tires for a Suzuki LTZ 400 sport quad. The OEM Dunlops worked very well in desert riding conditions — hard pack, soft sand, steep hills. The Dunlops have a different tread pattern and I would’ve stuck with those if they were still available. In limited (~50 miles) use these tires seem to be an acceptable replacement for the Dunlops, however I got stuck in soft sand once and that never happened with the Dunlops. I put hundreds of miles on the Dunlops and cruised up soft sand hills and steep hard pack with ease. I don’t have the same level of trust in these new tires — yet. ... show more
