I tried a different brand LED headlamp last year for my 2012 Volvo S60. Because of “Bulb Failure” error I’d have to buy a separate canbus, which failed in less than a year. I also tried with a resistor. But the resistor generates too much heat. The European cars are more sensitive to bulb change. I finally decided to give this LED headlamp a try after reading its description that indicates it’s compatible with 99% vehicle models. After put both bulbs on, it WORKED for my Volvo. It WORKED without the need of additional canbus or resistor. No error message anymore. It is super bright. The lamp comes with a canbus block. So no need for an extra connector. After the lights were turned on for over 20 minutes. The bulb itself and the canbus were only slightly warm, nothing was burning hot. Really love it ... show more

    • fans are loud
they are definitely bright AF, but the fans are loud, i can hear them inside the car, and i can feel the vibration on the headlight, they are bulkier than my last ones, so they were a tight fight around the top part, and i cant adjust to exactly the right spot

    • Run very hot and won't work for a Road King's low beam...
These bulbs are very bright, but they run very hot. I bought them for a Road King which uses two bulbs (low and high beam). They won't fit for the low beam, but they would for the high beam (somehow tight). There's more room for the bottom bulb (high beam), but it will be way too close to wiring crossing right behind the bulb's fan and I am afraid the heat may melt some of the wires. I returned them and ordered something else. If you want these bulbs for another application in which space and heat are not an issue, I believe they will work fine. ... show more
