Does exactly what is advertised, adds a grip to your Leica Q3. Perfect Fit!!! All buttons and dials are still accessible except for the EVF dial. This is essentially the same and the OEM version from Leica but at a much more reasonable price. I’m happy with this purchase

If you want a thumb grip for the Q3 this is the one to buy. Indistinguishable from OEM - really. And a really nice glass screen protector to boot! Also has a plastic eye screen protector, but that messes with the proximity sensor and reflects the viewscreen - ended up throwing that one away. So why four stars? My thumb grip did not come in a box. it was stuck in a piece of foam inside a clear plastic bag. I can only assume mine is used. But it looks and works great, so I'm keeping it. ... show more

The black OEM thumb grips have been on backorder for months. I decided to try this, thinking I'd return it if it didn't pass my high standards. I knew what the OEM version looked and felt like after using it in the Leica SF store. This passes 100%, down to the "LEICA CAMERA WETZLAR GERMANY" engraved on it. It fits just like the OEM version. Just like OEM, even has the Leica Camera Wetzlar Germany engraving. Attached solid to the camera, even comes with screen protector for the display and the EVF. Sadly the EVF screen protector prevents the sensor from automatically switching screens, so removed it (no big deal since it was free)
