  • The best solution to help stretch your boots/shoes!
Color Name: 1 Bottle
Dear FootMatters, I bought this spray because I just bought a pair of Thursday Loggers in Cacao and I normally wear a size 9.5 but these boots were not built on the same last as my other Thursday Captain boots. The Loggers were a bit snug around the forefoot while made it difficult to wear for long periods. Anything over an hour was getting uncomfortable and annoying. I had no other options but to try this solution and hope for the best. The Loggers I purchased was the most expensive pair of TBC boots at a little over $300 with tax. When I got the boot it seemed to fit ok so I’m not sure what happened but I could not wear these Loggers comfortably now. Annoyed and since I couldn’t exchange them because they were already worn outside and the boot has begun to crease. I love everything about these boot but I was left with no choice so I took a chance on this product and boy am I glad I did. The instructions were simple. Saturate the areas that is tight with the solution and then go walk around until the solution dries up. Repeat as necessary. I followed the instruction to the T. I sprayed the forefoot and the toe cap area with so much solution I could feel it damp on the inside of the leather. Then I put on the boots and went to ikea with my wife. We walked around for an hour and I could feel it working as my feet were not hurting. Right before I went to bed I sprayed the solution on the forefoot and toe cap and then I shoved my Cobblers Choice boot tree with a wool sock folded in half and I jammed it into my boots. Doing this made my troubled area extremely tight. When I woke up this morning I could tell that the forefoot and toe cap area has stretched because of the fact that I stuffed my boot tree into the boot with my wool socks folded in half. Out of curiosity I put the boots on and it was like I had a different boot altogether. Doing what I did really helped solve a major issue since I could no longer return the boot for a different size and to be frank, I didn’t want to because other than the forefoot area the rest of the boot was comfy. If I went with a larger size, sure, it’d give me more room but my foot would be floating in the boot. I didn’t really need 1/2 size larger. I only needed a small amount of room. I am super glad that I took a shot in the dark which paid off. I don’t know what’s in this solution but it helped out a lot. Now these are for sure my favorite boots. To be fair, if you have boots that are slightly too small then this solution I described would work well BUT you’re not going to be able to stretch your boot a lot. For example, I would not expect a pair of 9.5 boots/shoes to stretch to a 10 with this solution so please don’t try that. I mean I suppose that is possible if you tried hard enough but you’d be destroying the boot in the process because different size boots/shoes use different lasts(plastic mold of a boot or shoe) to make the boots/shoe. I suppose you could try it but I doubt it will work. Anyways, Thanks in advance! I hope this helps someone else too. ... show more

  • actually works
Color Name: 1 Bottle
I was skeptical about this at first. Worried it would change the color of the dyed leather of my boots, bc some reviews said it did and others that it didn’t. The boots are my first pair of Ariat boots and really needed stretching. I used this spray 3 times over the course of one hour and by the time I was done spraying and walking about my house, I had these loose and super soft and feeling like I had worn them at least a small handful of times already. The first night I wore them I had them on for 6 hours, dancing, the next night another 6 hours with a lot of walking. This stuff really does what you need it to, and you don’t have to be patient or in pain while you “break them in.” Would definitely recommend. ... show more

  • Great way to stretch cowboy boots
Color Name: 1 Bottle
I have a pair of boots that needed a bit of stretching and I did not want to go through the agony of wearing them in to stretch them out. Now this does take some time, but it really isn't too bad. You just have to wear them until the solution dries to get the full stretched affect. After just one use I can tell a difference in the shoes, and they are already much more comfortable to wear. I am going to go a second round to stretch the toe area a bit more but around my ankles where some of the bits of leather used to rub horribly are now stretched to a comfortable position. ... show more

  • Boot Stretcher
Color Name: 1 Bottle
I used the product to stretch a pair of boots that were too tight by the toes.. It worked! Only complaint I had was that whenever i turned the bottle sideways in order to 'hit' a different spot, it would foam up and not spray...clogged up or something. I would have to let the bottle contents set awhile til I could use it again. Then it worked until I accidentally did the same thing again! It did work fabulously to 'soften" or rather to stretch the leather boots!!! I did use a shoe stretcher in the boots along with the spray to do the job. ... show more

  • Spray nozzle is trash
Color Name: 1 Bottle
This shoe stretch works really well. The interior leather on my sure grip boardwalk skates was so hard it was causing blisters on my ankles. I sprayed the interior of the boot only, as the exterior suede is quite soft already. One use of helped a lot, but two uses made the fit perfect and extremely comfortable. My only issue is the spray nozzle is absolute trash. It almost sort of works, but not well. You will need to add the cost of a new spray bottle to the cost of this product, when considering purchase. That said, I would buy it again. It saved my skates from back of the closet oblivion. But for $10 it’s terribly annoying that they can’t just put it in a decent bottle. Charge an extra dollar if you have to, at least that would save me a trip to the store. ... show more

  • I'm a believer.
Color Name: 1 Bottle
Wasn't sure if this would work. My feet are two sizes, for real. Some people say their feet are two sizes because they think it's a cute fact about them, but their feet are the same. My feet are actually two different sizes because of a back issue. Anyways one of my new Ralph Lauren leather boots was too tight while the other fit great. But I loved them! Got this, sprayed it on the toe and back, put on two pairs of winter socks, walked around my house and wore for 30 more min for good measure. Took it off (because my foot was going numb) and POOF, fits perfectly. Praise be. ... show more

  • This stuff works
Color Name: 1 Bottle
I used these on shoes that were to tight in the toe area. Since I would be in them for hours dancing I really needed this product to work. It worked fantastic. It was my only hope to be able to wear them at all. Very pleased and will be putting in other shoes I have sort of given up on as well. Definitely recommend. ... show more

  • Hard to “spray” with no spray nozzle…
Color Name: 1 Bottle
Just put it on my boots with my boot stretchers inside so we’ll see how well it works. Just confused because the picture shows a spray nozzle and the directions say to “spray it on” but yet it didn’t even come with any sort of spray nozzle, just a screw on cap. So I had to pour a bunch on a rag and wipe it on so I’d imagine I’m having to use a lot more than I should to get it on since it’s soaking into the rag, that is my biggest complaint. Don’t say in the directions to spray it on and not even give you a way to spray it on.. ... show more
