I was looking through home products, and I saw this Food Warming Mat. I thought that it looked awesome since you can roll it out, turn it on to heat up, use it to keep your food warm, and then after it’s cooled down, roll it back up tuck it away and it’s ready for the next time that you need it. I have never seen a food warming mat, let alone one that rolls up so you can tuck it away after use. I was really surprised after ordering this, but it was even more awesome than what it shows online. It is what is going to mean a successful holiday season, instead of one that was crazy hectic because everyone wants the oven at the same time to heat up their food for the holiday meal. I was really happy to hear that it is made of premium – grade silicon material. It has five temperature settings, and what I really like about it is that it has an auto shut off. The warming roll has full surface heating, and I can tell you that I get to use the whole surface for warming, not just a few different zones.. I took it to my daughter’s house after we had a recent pool party. We set various dishes on it and it kept everything heated. In other words, it didn’t just heat in a couple of circles and you had to find those spots, it heated the entire mat, which I was really excited about. I was also very excited that it has those five temperature levels that go from 140°F, which is definitely warming your plates or keeping your dishes warm. The mat goes all the way up to 212°F, which is where we are really seeing the dishes kept much warmer. This temperature zone, 212°F, is what we will be using for the holidays. This is going to be a knockout, absolutely necessary item for the holidays. In fact, I don’t know how I’ve done it before without this warming mat. I am really impressed that the warming mat does things like, thawing out meats, melting chocolate, and even helping with dough fermentation. I wouldn’t have thought of these things without having read the instruction booklet that came with our warming mat. It’s really fascinating to know that this warming mat can heat up within 10 seconds, and reach the highest temperature within 10 minutes. The size of the warming mat is 26” X 15”. Perfect! The warming tray sits upon a bed of 0.38”, elevated feet that prevents direct contact with your counter. If you’re going to use the warming mat for a prolonged period, in the same environment, you should put something underneath it to protect your counter. Otherwise, the occasional use of the warming mat will not damage my countertops. After we’ve used the warming mat, allowed it to cool off, and wiped it off with a clean damp rag, we roll it up put it in the pantry and wait for the next time we need to use it. It’s going to be a super important tool for the holidays, or when we gather for tailgating, or whatever we decide to do. I’m very impressed. ... show more

    • Gets Pretty Hot....Do Not Be Fooled by the Simplicity of It
This mat is made of a strong silicone material and looks rather harmless, do not be fooled, this thing gets hot. I ordered this because it looked like a cool gadget to have and since I was able to purchase it in exchange for an honest review, I figured, why not? The mat was large enough to place multiple items on it and my food was not hot, but it did keep each item warm. For me this is best suited for times when I'm making breakfast for the entire family and my meat or some of the pancakes are ready but not all. I can place my food on the mat and let it stay warm until all of the food is ready to serve. It did work for keeping my items warm, the mat was warmer than my food though and I guess being logic, it should be. It a handy gadget but certainly not really necessary but I am glad that I have it. It's a nice gadget to have if you are not on a budget and just like having impressive gadgets but I do warn, keep it away from where kids can get to it because it will burn them. ... show more

    • pretty big and does warm the dishes
This one kept showing up as one of the great gadgets on YouTube hosts' channels (from various brands, I assume), so I really wanted to try it. Luckily (or probably through Alexa's magic, as she's always listening), this one showed up on my recommended page. When I work from home, sometimes I have to do something real quick after my meal is ready to eat, which can be annoying as sometimes the food gets cold. This is just perfect for such instances, except it was larger sized than I thought, even for my huge-sized work desk, which I think many people actually find convenient (just not for my purpose I guess). If you have an even larger-sized version, that would also be perfect for home parties. I liked that I could roll this up when not in use, so it doesn’t always take up space like a tray. So far, I am very satisfied with its performance of heating dishes and am thinking about giving this as a holiday gift this year for friends and family. While I don’t like inflated price strategies like this, it comes with a 40% coupon at the time of this review, so the cost performance is great in terms of the overall utility you get for the price you pay. ... show more

    • Great Product, Easy To Use, Easy to Store!
I love it! The warming mat warms up quickly, so not much waiting around for it. It holds at least two large pans or multiple small ones. That it rolls up super convenient! It totally dodges having a big, bulky apparatus that I have to find a place to store. What a great idea! Highly recommended!

    • Heat up past 100 degrees
The media could not be loaded. Tested with thermometer mat heated over 150 degrees Pans heated up past the 100 degree mark wirh ease. Inside of pan was warm to medium hot to touch, t any where scalding. I did not touch mat. But I would not let curious children near when in use Primary use will be poolside table to keep food warm. ... show more

I am in love with this warmer. It is perfect for buffet food and actually holds quite a few casserole dishes. It has different heat settings making it a great solution when everyone is eating at different times or when the temperature needs to be adjusted. I have three of these and I use them all the time.
