I was looking through home products, and I saw this Food Warming Mat. I thought that it looked awesome since you can roll it out, turn it on to heat up, use it to keep your food warm, and then after it’s cooled down, roll it back up tuck it away and it’s ready for the next time that you need it. I have never seen a food warming mat, let alone one that rolls up so you can tuck it away after use. I was really surprised after ordering this, but it was even more awesome than what it shows online. It is what is going to mean a successful holiday season, instead of one that was crazy hectic because everyone wants the oven at the same time to heat up their food for the holiday meal. I was really happy to hear that it is made of premium – grade silicon material. It has five temperature settings, and what I really like about it is that it has an auto shut off. The warming roll has full surface heating, and I can tell you that I get to use the whole surface for warming, not just a few different zones.. I took it to my daughter’s house after we had a recent pool party. We set various dishes on it and it kept everything heated. In other words, it didn’t just heat in a couple of circles and you had to find those spots, it heated the entire mat, which I was really excited about. I was also very excited that it has those five temperature levels that go from 140°F, which is definitely warming your plates or keeping your dishes warm. The mat goes all the way up to 212°F, which is where we are really seeing the dishes kept much warmer. This temperature zone, 212°F, is what we will be using for the holidays. This is going to be a knockout, absolutely necessary item for the holidays. In fact, I don’t know how I’ve done it before without this warming mat. I am really impressed that the warming mat does things like, thawing out meats, melting chocolate, and even helping with dough fermentation. I wouldn’t have thought of these things without having read the instruction booklet that came with our warming mat. It’s really fascinating to know that this warming mat can heat up within 10 seconds, and reach the highest temperature within 10 minutes. The size of the warming mat is 26” X 15”. Perfect! The warming tray sits upon a bed of 0.38”, elevated feet that prevents direct contact with your counter. If you’re going to use the warming mat for a prolonged period, in the same environment, you should put something underneath it to protect your counter. Otherwise, the occasional use of the warming mat will not damage my countertops. After we’ve used the warming mat, allowed it to cool off, and wiped it off with a clean damp rag, we roll it up put it in the pantry and wait for the next time we need to use it. It’s going to be a super important tool for the holidays, or when we gather for tailgating, or whatever we decide to do. I’m very impressed. ... show more

I own two of these roll-up food warmers, and this one is my new favorite. I like the functionality of my first one, but this one has a number of attributes that are a step above. First off, the silicone is thicker, and the feet on the underside lift the pad up higher off any surface you place it on. The warming area is large enough to hold 5-6 average-sized serving dishes. Once plugged in and turned on, it heats up quickly. The controls include an on/off button, temperature control (up to 100 degrees C), and a timer with a child lock setting that can be set up to four hours. When turned off and cooled, this warming pad is easy to roll up and secure with the included Velcro strip, then put away on a shelf until next you need to use it; it doesn't take a lot of space to store. This is a quality product at a good price which should prove invaluable an events where you want/need to keep food warm without a lot of effort. ... show more
