There are many ways to use this for your pets, & I like that it can be easily wiped clean. If you were traveling with a pet, this would sure come in handy. If you had a litter of kittens or puppies that you needed to contain while prospective adopters watched them interacting, it would also be great for that. This is surprisingly light weight, so if you use it outside, make sure you put things in it to weigh it down. It could be used, for example, to let a pet bearded dragon get some fresh air & needed sunshine in warm weather- it's very well-ventilated. This was very easy to set-up- folding it back down into the carrying bag is a little tricky, but do-able- just watch the video. Thus far, I've had no trouble with the zippers; the only thing that gave me a bit of trouble was one of these folding support posts- they fold in 2 pieces with an inner elastic band (an unusual design) so when one of them got a little stuck (it caught on something) when I inserted it, it came apart when I tried to pull it out rather than slide out intact (the trick is to push it out) but I got it to work okay when I re-inserted it. Anyway, I'm tempted to replace these skinny folding supports with something that remains solid. Overall, this is really for calm & well-behaved pets- not pets that object to being confined & try to fight their way out. I have 2 smaller mellow dogs, but I doubt that I'll be using this for them- I really got it to provide some exercise for my pet snakes, like when I'm cleaning their regular enclosures (yes, really), & if you plan to use it the same way, I'd suggest using a twist-tie to secure the zipper pulls tightly together on the top & both doors- if you do it correctly (so there's no "wiggle room") then it should be escape proof. I can also picture using this for cats, & various other pets- but I strongly suggest only doing so with some supervision. Many pets (rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents, dogs) could easily chew through this, just because "chewing is their thing", even if they weren't really trying to escape. All in all, I like the many options this provides- I'm very glad I got this. ... show more

This is definitely the type of crate you get when you’re camping or just traveling to a family members house and know you’re gonna need to put up your animal for a short period of time. Would not recommend this for untrained animals as it’s not a thick fabric, and a dog could easily put a hole in it if wanted. But if you have some pet that goes out with you regularly and you just want an area to confine it if you are running an errand out or it gets too hyper or you know it needs to rest if it’s older, I would recommend this crate. It’s very lightweight compactible and only took 30 seconds to assemble . It would also make a great gift for people that use RVs campers or camping often and again have a train pet they take along with them. I would not recommend setting it up in your vehicle because it is so lightweight. It would be easy for your animal to flip in it . I do enjoy that the zippers have a cliffside to essentially lock if you have children that like to unzip items. And has three different entry points with Velcro to hold them up if you just want to have your animal have access to it when needed. ... show more

This started out as a 5 star review. The tent arrived neatly folded into its circular carrying case and unfolded quickly and easily. There are several rods that are inserted along the perimeter of the tent to keep it upright once it is fully expanded and velcro to keep them secure as the tent is upright. This is very spacious with a lot of mesh windows and zippers for lots of air flow and visibility. Once upright, the shape of this is very secure and sturdy, but it is still extremely lightweight so having this set up outdoors in the wind with an animal(s) less than 15-20lbs or something to keep it weighted down could be dangerous for small animals. Loved the pink color and all the zippers were sturdy and well made. When I started to disassemble this is where the problem occurred. While setup is fairly easy and straightforward, getting the poles back out of each compartment was a challenge due to the fact that the fabric started to fray very easily, getting the poles stuck and not able to slide back out easily. If you plan to keep this set up all the time, this probably won't be a deal breaker for you. I preferred to break it down and see how well it was able to get it back to the condensed circular shape it came, which was very easy. It was also easy to slide back into the carrying case and everything fit back together neatly. If removing the poles wasn't such an inconvenience this would be a 5 star review. ... show more

Love it contained our crack head of a cat. Water proof. Easy clean but folding that hoe? Omg 45 minutes later and internal screams accompanied by a few whacks to the face when it decided to re pop open mid twist was as complicated as my last marriage to fold back down
