Fit and material are the same as the original. Plastic. Would have been better if it were made of something more solid, but you can't expect much when the original is made from the same material. Installed in about 10 to 15min. works perfectly. I hope it lasts longer than the original. I would like to find the same thing made out of metal, and Glass lens. ... show more

These actually melted on the coldest day . The Plastic is not heavy duty enough for the kind of heat that comes out of fog lamps. And the fact that it was on the coldest day and it’s still melted that says a lot about this product. Imagine if it was a hot day they would’ve probably went on fire.

The original fog lights for my 2008 Expedition leaked and blew bulbs. These units replaced the factory originals, and installed easily, but I needed the nuts from the originals, so make sure to save those. (These didn't come with the nuts.) These look sharp. I've only had them installed for a few weeks, so I can't comment on longevity, but they seem like good quality replacements for a much better price than OEM.
