This little thing packs a huge punch. It gets all the stubborn stubble and even exfoliates. I have very sensitive skin & psoriasis and found that it helped shed the extra layers of skin that turn into plaques for me without irritating my skin. It’s only for use on your legs, I tried using it to exfoliate my arms and I found it was a little too harsh once I got out of the shower. No pain but I did have some redness and sensitivity on my arms afterwards- not something I experienced on my legs at all. I really like using this after shaving or using Nair to get rid of any hair or stubble left behind. Makes your legs so silky smooth. I bought this hair eraser a couple of weeks ago and have used it a handful of times. My primary goal was to find something that I could use out of the shower, use between epilating, and to get rid of the surface-level ingrowns that I frequently get. I'll put tips first, pros/cons, and then overall. Tips: I find when I do slow, true circles the hair comes off more quickly. If I go more in an oval shape and too fast (I find I go too fast WAY too easily 😂) then it's not as thorough. For me, the hair comes off better if my legs are dry and I haven't showered recently. Fresh out of the shower was tricky when I tried it because the hair seemed more flexible and didn't break as easily. I moisturize with baby oil after and it seems to do a good job as an "aftershave". Pros: * Instantly smoother legs. It definitely exfoliates very well. * It worked very well on my shins, knees, and big toe. While it took extra work on my calves, it seemed to do a decent job. * Seems to do best with coarse hair. Not so great with fine hair. * I frequently have ingrowns that sit just underneath a layer of skin so they're visible but I can't get them with a razor. This pops them out very easily. * Price isn't bad. Cons: * Very tricky to reach smaller spaces. Ankles, behind the knees, top of the foot, and small toes are almost impossible for me. * Possible razor burn if pressed to hard or used too long in one area. (Hard to avoid because sometimes it takes a while to get all the hair in the area.) * Can't say much for getting rid of said "strawberry legs". I'm not sure if the roots are supposed to fall out after using the eraser, but I don't see much of a difference between the results here and when I use a razor. Overall: I'm not upset that I bought it. I'll probably use it mostly as an exfoliater and to remove those surface ingrowns, but not a great option for me as a full replacement for hair removal. I was really surprised in how well the product worked. I read many reviews before and was skeptical at first but decided to give it a try since shaving is really annoying. I have been using it for the past month and a half now and it is super easy to use. I have to say that I do not have sensitive skin and I am using it every few days. The picture is taken right after using but before putting lotion on. The pros are that it is easy to use, I don't have ingrown hairs, I can't cut myself, no razor burn, it doesn't hurt at all, it is fast, exfoliates the skin, I can use it on dry skin and do not need to be in the shower to shave which in convenient if you are in a rush and it is easy to clean and reuse. I also love that it leaves my skin super smooth after each use. The cons are that the hair grows back as fast as if I was shaving my legs, which for me is the next day, and does now grow back thinner as I was hoping and reading. I also feel like that it slightly takes off my tan but that might be because I use it frequently, since my hair grows really fast. On not even parts like around the knees or ankle, some hairs remain. Against the recommendation, I did try to use it in my armpits which worked okay the first time but after the second time it left me with slightly burning armpits for a few hours, which was my own fault since the product is not supposed to be for that area. In total, I am really happy with the product and will continue to use it on my legs instead of shaving. I already recommended it to my mother who will be ordering it now as well. ... show more

I really didn't think this would work. It absolutely does. That said, it works best where the skin is tighter, and closer to the bone (arms, lower legs). If you have those areas of stubborn fat, it does not work well there. On my legs/arms: flawless. I'm impressed. Sometimes there is a tiny tug when it grabs a hair, but it's really painless. Don't use pressure or you'll sand the heck out of your skin. The exfoliating effect it had on my legs with proper use was a nice bonus.     • Smooth but not painless
I got this ages ago, tried it, and didn’t find it very effective, so let it gather dust. Today, after months and months of not shaving, I decided to try it out again. Wow, my legs are SMOOTH. The reviews that said this is painless led me astray - compared to waxing or nicking yourself with a razor, it is, but there will be a burning/itchy/raw pain when you’re doing it right. I applied lotion afterwards and my legs are still feeling tender and raw half an hour later. Shaving (sans nicks) would be less painful, BUT it would get less smooth results, would take longer, and would be messier in the shower. It might be less painful when your leg hairs aren’t winter/spring length, but just note that if it doesn’t hurt at all, it probably isn’t working, but it’ll be worth it for VERY smooth legs, very quick. I found circular or side to side motions the most effective at picking up swaths of hair. You’ll need to rinse it periodically as you go, same as you would a razor.
