Super absorbent material. Wring it out and it’s ready to dry you off again. I used to use these when I was a diver in high school. Now I toss it in my backpack for beach days, travel, and backpacking trips where I don’t want to carry a big heavy towel. Just do not leave it wet in the container for more than a day or it will start to get moldy. Hang it up to dry and it will harden in that shape. Aquamarine's color is not green, what we received was simply a lighter blue color. In the picture the blue we ordered is on the left and the aquamarine that we ordered is on the right. This was not a big deal for our daughter, however I can see how it could be a big deal to some people if the color they are expecting as much different than what they are receiving. We tried the product a few times and it absorbs well and has a very cool, soft, rubbery sort of texture. The water squeezes out of it nicely too. It folds up nice and small and stores well in it's container which makes it easy to take in a swim bag and lighter weight than traditional towels. ... show more

This is my third Flow Swim Chamois in the past 15 or so years. But this one feels way more “rubbery” than my previous two. Was there a change in production? If I had known this chamois would be stiffer and cling more to my skin when trying to dry, I would have ordered a different brand. However, I will say that If this was my first swim chamois, I probably would just roll with it, but knowing my previous ones were much softer, this one is just annoying. One good thing is that it still dries just as well as my previous ones, so I’ll keep using it until it either becomes normal to me or I just can’t take it any longer. ... show more

I use this all the time in the summer. A thousand times easier to use than towels. Just wring out and its ready to go again. No laundry to do, doesn't get smelly like wet towels, super small and light weight.

Works almost as well as the speedo version, but is a tad more "tacky" and sticks/skips across my skin when drying off rather than smoothly drying. Ultimately dies the trick at substantially lower price, just not quite the same.

I love these things! My boyfriend had one we used to dry off while camping a few years back and I was amazed by how absorbent they are. I was using a large microfibre towel that added weight when it was wet and needed about an hour or more time in the sun to dry, but that’s nowhere near as efficient at these! I’m about to embark on another trip and I’ve just bought this as a replacement for my bulkier microfibre towel. I’ve seen some complaints about a chemical smell when first opening this towel, but I didn’t notice one even when I put it right up to my nose. Pros: Super absorbent! It’ll dry you, your hair, and your clothes. If it get saturated, just wring it out and keep drying. It also dries out and is ready to pack almost immediately. It’s small and lightweight, so it’s great for travelling when you need to bring your own towel or camping or pretty much any use you can think of. Cons: It’s small, so it’s not like the kind of towel you wrap around yourself at home. That’s no problem when I’m travelling because I usually need to dress immediately after I bathe anyway, but if that’s something you’re not willing to sacrifice this isn’t for you. I use this to wipe down my shower and fixtures after my showers. I have hard water and don’t like hard water stains in my tile or fixtures. The shower dries completely in about 15 minutes without residual marking. I use it in place of a bulky towel when camping and keep one in a big out bag.
