It's very thin and folds very well, takes almost no space and it dries better than any other towel we've ever had. I've washed it and dried it in machines a couple of times, still good as new. I really like this towel. I purchased it for a sailing trip and it did the job great. It was absorbent but also dried fairly quickly (faster than a regular towel would). It is lightweight and compact, so it fit into my duffel without a problem. I look forward to using this on other camping trips.

Perfect towel for after-swim class. I got another one after using this for a week. No color bleed, easy to wash, dries off the kids very well. Super compact, so it doesn’t take up valuable space in the bag!

As far as I can tell, the reason this towel dries quickly is because it just isn't that absorbent. I can get myself dry with it... eventually... with a whole lot of effort. I really have to scrape at my skin with it to get it to soak up a meaningful amount of water. Patting dry or gentle rubbing does nothing. A quick-drying towel is nice, sure, but I'd rather have one that dries me off easily. You can see the lack of absorbency if you drip water on it. Most of the drops will roll right off, or just sit on the surface of the fabric. If, like me, you got here searching for an absorbent swim towel, consider yourself warned--this is not what you're looking for! All the other towels out there that are made of this same horrible material probably aren't either. This towel would only be a good choice if the time it takes for the towel to dry is more important than any other factor. ... show more
