I like using Foam Blocks in my art room for several things- holding tools, drying glazed pieces on toothpicks, securing pieces I am working on, etc. They come in very handy. I chose to get these specific Foam Blocks because once I have used them for awhile, poked a lot of holes in them, I can put them under running water so they get soaked and then reshape them. Once they dry they are ready to use all over again. The foam on these blocks is very dense so they do securely hold whatever you stick into them. I need to make a simple press so I can reshape them more evenly on all sides. They do shed a tiny bit of foam particles when wet so they have to be handled carefully at that point. They also expand a bit when dry and will return close to their original size. I really like how sturdy they are, how securely they hold onto whatever I stick into them and for the price I got 6 rectangles, which will last me a for many years. ... show more

These are quite small, as far as floral foam goes, and caught me a little off-guard, but that was my fault for not paying attention to the sizes listed in the title. These floral foam blocks are a bit smaller than I thought they would be but do seem of a good quality. You get six blocks which will be great for floral arrangements or to use in a craft projects. They are a darker green color which I also liked.
