I got the product and was very disappointed, a lot was missing. There was no dust cover and all of the items besides the fridge wasn’t in the package. The walls weren’t even in the package. The instructions are not easy to read and was not in English. This would have been my first. Now I gotta find another way to get my hobby started. Good luck ... show more

I bought this to build with my 8 yo daughter but it is definitely an adult build. The directions are in Chinese but the translations are easy enough to follow. I built this in the evening for about 4 nights. Took about a total of 6 hours for my first build. I will buy again.

Good minature. I've done nearly 100 minature kits and this one was pretty good. Rolife minatures are generally the best in terms of instructions, but this is a good second. Part of that is because the size is so small there isn't a ton of supplies to mix up. I finished it in a day, so it's not time consuming. No issues with fit or supplies missing. I did have to re-do the light because the template is a little too small, but not a big deal. I also did the pillows a different way (pre-folded and glued the edges) because it was too messy to do it the instructed way with the glue. All in all a good day project for those with experience and a good long weekend project for those that aren't. ... show more

This review is for the kitchen miniature kit “Taste of Life” First the good: It doesn’t take long to assemble (mine took one Sunday afternoon) and the wooden pieces all fit together perfectly. The kit doesn’t have too many infuriating bits of paper/beads/wire to make you question your fine motor skills. The kit does include a small tool kit of tweezers, box cutter, child size scissors, ruler. Put together carefully with the dust cover, it would make a super cute gift for someone who loves to cook. Then the not so good: the lighting kit can’t take rechargeable batteries, so you should look up the price of three LR-44 batteries and get those (and open them) to test your kit bulbs before you start work because if they don’t work you can then return your kit (but not your batteries!) The kit is NOT 1:24 scale. It’s the same teensy 1:32 scale that many house/loft kits now come in. The promotional photo is of the larger scale promotional kit that was sent out to some youtubers and bloggers to demonstrate. Your kit won’t have a cute pink pot ready to put on the stove. Personally, I’m disappointed in this kit because it’s too small for the figures I wanted to display in it, but if you don’t mind the 1:32 kits then this one is very sweet. ... show more

I found this little gem during Amazon Prime days and couldn't resist. The directions are printed a bit small for these old eyes but with a little searching, I found a set online that I was able to download and even a video on YouTube showing assembly. I wouldn't recommend this for a young child because assembly was fiddly and I ruined a few pieces buy I was able to work around that by making my own exhaust hood over the range and getting the little laser cut stools from another vendor. This is roughly 1/24 a scale in case you want to personalize yours. It came with some tools but I also recommend Beacon 3 in 1 glue, a good exacto knife, ruler and cutting mat and a Xyron sticker maker...all stuff you can find here on Amazon.
