I'm a big fan of this brand and jeans. I have ordered for years and tried several styles, fits and cuts (around 10 different ones). I have always loved them... except these ones specifically. The fit just isn't right and very weird/awkward. Its like they are too loose right below the thick waste line but tight and strechy everywhere else. Maybe the ones I received were poorly made. Unfortunately I was mislead by the reviews saying these pants ran small and ordered up a size. I'm hoping to salvage them by washing in a hot water cycle and drying on high heat but will definitely buy them again in a smaller size either way. Material is definitely stretchy! I'm 5' 4" and about 220 lbs with all belly and no butt and usually wear a 16-18. That being said 3XL drowned me and wouldn't be able to keep up without a belt and suspenders. I had to send the first pair back because they were too big but the next pair fit great. The length is very long. I am 5'7 and they still drug the ground wearing boots. The very first day wearing them I made the mistake of pulling on the belt loop to pull up the jeans and it ripped apart. I can sew it back to fix it but was just surprised it ripped so fast. These jeans had potential (style and color is cute) but the quality is terrible the belt hoops ripped upon trying them on due to the overly cheap/thin quality. Oddly found a $5 bill in the pocket that seemed washed up as if these had been worn prior. I am 130lbs 5’3. I purchased a small and these ran big giving it a baggier look instead of a tighter cute fit that I expected.
