I was little worried about receiving a tank that was a 2+ years ago. These tanks are only 'good' for 12 years before they need to be recertified. Some places will refuse to fill them after 12 years. I ordered this tank in late July 2024 and the tank I received was Made in April 2024. So basically a 3 month old tank. ... show more

This propane Cylinder is a great vale to have as an extra one on hand. Poor rating was due to shipping. The tank was wrapped with the cheapest bubble wrap and placed in a carboard box almost twice the size of the tank. Which allowed the tank to slide around and at the center weld of the tank (which is higher than the surface of the tank) it rubbed through the bubble wrap and the cardboard box. The weld now has been ground down for about 1 inch long removing paint and some of the metal weld. Now I'll have to have the tank inspected to see if it still has the integrality to hold pressure. The safety of the crew comes first. I can replace a tank but not a life. ... show more

I had to order these for 4 concrete buggies that were just delivered to me without propane tanks! How was I supposed to make use of them without the tanks? These fit the bill very nicely and I was able to get 2 extra for my forklifts too. It might not seem like a big deal to many of you out there researching propane tanks, but come on man, a well-made, modestly priced 33.5-pound forklift tank is hard to come by now. I must say that I did hesitate, they had 16 available and I thought "I better get approval to get these" and when I returned to Amazon they were down to 6! We are a rental company with 4 of the above-mentioned buggies and 32 forklifts that operate on propane, so we need tanks (your welcome) and I should have purchased more than I did, but that is another story, for another time. ... show more
