Bought this for my high school aged daughter to wear on her trip to Europe. I was concerned that if she wore a purse or bookbag she may experience pickpocketing (she is not the most aware of her surroundings!). At first she was not thrilled with the idea of a "bum bag" and thought she would wear it most cross-body. However, during the trip she began wear it on her waist and said it was really comfortable. Pluses: Looks like a sturdy purse. You can see the size next to the kleenex box when its full. I like the purse handle on the top. You can use it as a crossbody, but it hangs at an awkward angle. Cons: Could be a couple inches wider. Fitting my regular size iphone is almost impossible into the side compartments. It fits in the main compartment but its clumsy to access with a wallet inside. I got the darker gray and it’s a nice color. The fabric is a little stuff, but quality. The jangling of the zippers bothered me so bad I clipped them off and tied leather cords on instead, but that is my only complaint. I was worried the front pocket would feel difficult to access because of the tight front flap, but it’s not really a problem. The bag is the perfect size, on the smaller side but still super roomy. I was in the market for a small hands-free bag and had heard that Fjallraven products are of high quality, so I decided to give this hip pack a try. I’m very pleased with it. The construction feels solid and it seems to have been made to careful standards. There are no loose threads or any defects at all. The material is stiff now, but I can tell that it’ll loosen up agreeably as I use it. I like the boxy shape of the pack, which will keep its shape due to the reinforced top corner seams. It’s so much easier to get into a pack of this style compared to one that fits closer to the body and things don't fall out when the zippers are open. I'm pleased with the zippers. I dislike hard, scratchy metal zippers, and the ones on this pack are instead good quality non-metal ones. And the top handle is surprisingly handy! I choose to wear this pack loosely around my waist rather than across my body or over my shoulder, and it’s very comfortable. The straps are sewn tightly to the pack; I can’t imagine they’ll ever pull out. The closure buckle is strong. As for the pocket placement and what can fit in them, the zip pocket on the back is awkward to get into when wearing the pack, so I put only a couple of Kleenex tissues in there. In the front zip pocket I carry a pocketknife, a pen, earbuds, a flat leather phone stand, and my car key fob. The main compartment holds my phone, Chapstick, a folding hairbrush/mirror combo, sunglasses, and keys. My card wallet and a .5-oz. bottle of hand sanitizer fit in the inside slip pocket as though it was custom made for them. There is a key clip in this slip pocket that I don't find useful so I don't use it. For size comparisons, my old iPhone 6 in a thinner case fits in the front pocket and in the inside slip pocket. My new iPhone 12 Mini in a thickish Otterbox case fits only in the main compartment. A Kindle Paperwhite or a Voyage will fit horizontally (just barely and awkwardly, because of the width of the reader) in the main compartment. A 12-oz. reusable water bottle will fit in the main compartment, but won’t leave room for much else. I value functionality and quality over trendiness, so I could wish that the logo would be less blaring, but I can live with that. In summary, this hip pack was an excellent choice for me, as it lets me carry what I want (with room to spare) in a good-looking small pack. ... show more

Very very cute and well made. Gorgeous color. I hate that most dresses don’t have pockets, and I’m not a fan of a regular purse, so I now use this on a regular basis to put my keys phone and wallet in!
