This has become a fashion item for middle-school girls. As a backpack it’s of limited usefulness. Virtually no current backpack technology on this thing. It’s basically a rucksack with a design straight out of the 1900’s. But I didn’t really purchase it because we needed a backpack and this one seemed like a great idea. For $80, better school backpacks can be found, so on that level it is no better than average. However, as an object that can satisfy my middle-school child’s overwhelming need to show she has the ability to con her parents into getting it. On that level, the bag is 5 stars, no doubt. I got mine from the seller Footwear Online, fulfilled by Amazon Prime. I checked all the key points of authencity and concluded that it’s the real deal, EXCEPT the materials tag that says 100% vinylal instead of polyvinyl alcohol like other people says it should say. But the fabric feels similar to Kånken’s I’ve seen instores, but since this is my first one, I don’t have a comparison. If anyone could give me input on the material to confirm that this is real, feel free to let me know! Another thing was that on the plastic wrap, the original sticker was covered with a new sticker tag...I wonder what it means. ... show more

Gave this to my 10yo daughter. She often gets compliments on this or overhears moms and older girls chatting about it, We often hear "She's got one", "I want one", "can you get me one too", "she has the Fjallraven!" I suppose I'm too old to understand why this backpack is better than any simple backpack, but it gets all the attention and compliments. She wears it to school daily and it holds up well. She is very spoiled and goes through backpacks. This seems to held up well, but time will tell. I can say though, she had a Justice backpack and the zipper stitching tore within a month's use. I have only had it for a day of use, but I am well-pleased with this purchase. The pack seems sturdy, and is lightweight, but with smooth-running zippers. Cambridge Select sent mine, and it seems to be authentic when I googled an "is it fake" thing. Brought it out to run a few errands and had several compliments, while tucked inside it were(drumroll): A mei-tai baby carrier, six diapers and a full pack of wipes, my large-ish wallet, sunglasses case, may daughter's poodle socks, ghillies and hard shoes for Irish dance, a water bottle and two packets of crackers. Also car keys, cell phone and four small wooden trains for baby to play with during dance class. This bag is... Amazing. For reference, I carried it with the top handles and have yet to mess with backpack straps. I will update if I have any problems there... I’ve had this backpack since 2016. Used it to go hiking, beach, amusement parks, class, and work! Looks nice and strong enough to carry at least 3 textbooks. I guess the only downfall which you should expect—not the most comfortable on the shoulders

I bought this little backpack for school and now use it for everything. For school it holds my laptop, books, and other essentials, I also take it for hiking/mushroom hunting and the straps never dig into my shoulders like other backpacks. Definitely worth the price. Order from Prime, I believe that it’s a guaranteed way to get the actual product and not a fake one. Ordered my K. Mini from Amazon Prime as well. Included pictures of both my Mini and Classic for others looking into this bag. I put my Mini inside the Classic to show how much room there actually is (never found a picture of this so I just made it myself) and there was still room left over to place other items, like a water bottle, some notebooks. ... show more
