Description

A fast fit road cycling shoe suitable for all cyclists and every ride. This shoe has been designed to offer an essential and timeless look and versatile performance to make every trip pleasant. The classic considerations of a street shoe have been redefined with a distinct Fizik identity and an elegant construction that adapts to the shape.Overcurve is a construction of shoes characterized by a staggered collar that envelops the ankle, tracing the natural misalignment of the two bone protrusions of the ankle: the lateral and medial malleols. The result is an asymmetric shape, with the throat of the shoe curving on the foot. from its outside to the inner one. The closure is quick and secure, powered by a micro-adjustable Boa® IP1 dial and a Velcro strap for perfect adjustment of the forefoot area. The R5 nylon composite sole is soft and comfortable even for long range but without compromising the efficiency of pedalling.

  • Great value.
Size: 10.5 - 11 Color: Black/Black
They're light, true to size and look good. I like the way they tighten up and are quick to loosen to get off. I purchased them for my Peloton. The cleats I purchased adjusted easily and have had no issues. The knob is micro adjusting when tightening to get them just right. I purchased more expensive shoes in the past but wasn't as pleased with them. They're nicely under stated, not cheesy looking, if that's what you're looking for. I was, and I'm pleased. ... show more

  • Good shoe, but be careful of the outersole
Size: 11.5 Color: Black
There are a lot of reviews here suggesting that sizing is an issue. I have no issue with size, in fact the shoes fit very well right out of the box. My issue is that these are really not trail shoes, and the lack of any tread pattern or friction points on the outer mid-sole make these kind of dangerous when stopping and starting. The mid-sole is so slick that any attempt to use that part of the foot to pedal, such as when you start or stop and have to be clipped out of the pedal, can cause your foot to slip and create a dangerous situation. On my first two rides, my foot slipped so fast and uncontrollably on one occasion when I came to a stop that I almost fell over. On another occasion I was starting at a stop sign and my foot slipped and I banged my shin so bad it bled. There should be some tread on the mid part of the shoe to help give a little grip. Other shoes such as the Giro do have this and it’s a great aspect. These are much more similar to a non-tread road shoe with some thick treads than a real gravel or trail shoe as the advertising suggests. It’s a shame really as I tend to buy carefully and use products for a long time. So I’m a little stuck with these shoes, which will most likely end up being my road shoe and indoor winter trainer more than a true mixed surface shoe, which is what I was looking for. Fit is good. No issues with that. And I have been riding clipless pedals for 25 years, so I am accustomed to the style of shoes and how to clip in and out. ... show more

  • For the price an o.k. choice.
Size: 10.5 - 11 Color: Black/Black
Good cheap second pair. SIDI still makes the best shoes but very expensive so not appropriate for my backup set while the SIDIs are drying out.

  • Sizing Beware!
Size: 14 Color: Military Green/Tangy Green
I really wanted to like these shoes. I'm an avid road and cyclocross rider and was looking for something new. I typically wear Specialized S-Works road shoes in a size 45 and Sidi Wire and Drako shoes in size 46 (I wear a size 11.5 in Nike and 12 in Asics running soes) and so I ordered a size 11.5 which showed up in my cart as a 42.5!? I tried it anyway and of course it was too small and was in fact a 42.5 despite being listed as an 11.5 on the dropdown for size selection. I ended up ordering a size 14! to get the right length but to be honest the shoes run a little wider than I expected. They're a really nice looking shoe, they're well made and the green color is different in a good way but the sizing on the site is all wrong! If you have a wider foot, then maybe these will work for you; I have a narrow foot, more of a Specialized or Sidi fit, so even after getting the legth right the width was still wrong. I was disappointed that they don't fit a narrow foot. I hope you have better luck. ... show more

  • Really nice mtb shoes but sizing is an issue
Size: 11.5 Color: Military Green/Tangy Green
Like others have noted, you have to use the FIZIK size conversion chart as the US sizes listed here are wrong (I had to order a US size 11.5 to get an actual US 9.5). Note: if you place shoe in your shopping cart, it will show the Euro size and then can use FIZIK conversion chart to find the real US size. I had to return as slightly too small but the shoes look great (I got the green version). Quality seemed high for this price point with thoughtful details like sticky dots on the back of the heel cup to help with slippage. I've tried other single BOA shoes (Shimano, Bontrager, Specialized) and these fit my narrow feet like a glove. I bought the open box option to save a few bucks and shoes appeared to be brand new. I imagine they get a lot of returns because of the sizing issues. ... show more
