Others questioned the sizing but they seem to fit the same as any other adidas. These are not my first mtb shoe but my first for flats. After a couple rides in very hot and dry conditions these have been great. Very comfortable right out of the box. Stick to the pedals so good you gotta lift your foot a little if you need to reposition. Great bang for the buck, good quality shoe. Glad I decided to give 510’s and flats a try. Very impressed with how well these shoes have worn over the past 1,827 abusive miles. Over the past year and a half I have transitioned to barefoot shoes in my day to day and the toe box on these are a little narrow for my liking so for that reason only I am retiring these and sizing up one size with some five ten freerider pros. I may end up breaking these out when conditions are extremely cold if the new shoes aren’t as warm. I have never cleaned these with anything other than a wet rag and they still look almost brand new. I have worn them in dusty conditions, wet/muddy conditions and in the extreme cold and have been 100% satisfied with them. I even stepped in a puddle half way up the laces for a split second and my foot stayed 100% dry so they are pretty water resistant. I bought these shoes for an extended trip and they were a great buy! I have click-in shoes for my road bike, but wanted a pair that would work on platform pedals for an e-bike and these do the job. The soles have a soft rubber with an aggressive grip that stay on the pedals without slipping. The fit is good and the suede leather should last. A very comfortable shoe for me. I first ordered the five ten trail cross shoes in a 10.5 which is what I wear for all my other gym shoes, tennis shoes and boots, but when they arrive they were far too big for me. When I went to return them I saw these at a better price point and figured I would give them a shot so I order them in half a size down (10). The size ten fit perfectly and these shoes actually felt better on my pedals then the more expensive trail cross shoes. They are stiff where you need them to be and have solid toe box protection as well. I would definitely buy again but I think I would go with the canvas version next time. ... show more

I wasn't sure what to expect with a stiff sole shoe, but this one really panned out for me. I had been riding with a pair of flat bottom skateboard shoes and they worked pretty well. These were just as comfortable as the skateboard shoes, if not more. I ride flat pedals and my skateboard shoes did a good job of keeping me there, but these shoes are next level. It felt like my feet were sticking to the pedals. No shifting around in the air. No slipping, even when wet. It's pretty much the closest thing to clipping in without clipping in. I honestly cannot say enough about these shoes. My hope is they will last forever, but nothing ever does. But I will make sure I have a backup pair or two down the road because they are worth it. ... show more

    • Soles aren’t made for downhill riding

Ripped a hole through my soles on both shoes in 5 months of riding downhill. The leather held up great Shoe is a bit narrow as well I wanted them to do better but they didn’t Good looking shoe though
