At 16.5 g, this chain is fairly light. It's well made, smooth to the touch, very flexible, and supple. The plating is well done and is not going to dissolve in water, according to the seller. I like the wheat link, since it's a departure from the usual Cuban link or rope, and looks very nice indeed, especially at this nominal price. The clasp is easy to fasten, which is a big plus for me since I'm not known for my infinite patience with fiddly bits of any sort. This is a great looking chain that's substantial enough to get noticed and thin enough to accommodate a pendant, should you desire to do so. Thanks for reading my review. I don’t usually go for this type of style chain but I really like this. It’s very unique. The clasp seems to be very durable and it’s the perfect thickness. I think it’s very worth the money.

I'm a jewelry-maker, and wheat chain is by far my favorite chain to work with and wear. I recently got a special pendant made of gold stainless steel, but I wanted a nicer chain for it, and only have silver stainless steel wheat chain on hand at the moment. This chain is slightly longer than claimed (which seems like good value). The fastener is strong, and we liked the aesthetics of the chain. The only reason I'm not giving this five stars is that it has a kink in it (see photo) and I can't get it out and straighten the links.
