(moms account) Silver has been kinda soft and easy to break, for an active man. Stainless is ether really good or really bad. I would like to point out however, this one is a step above some other chinese-made ones. The end clasp/holders are spot welded on, as opposed to simply just crimpled down. I also replaced the lobster clasp with a jewelry sized split ring (keys), and the tiny jump ring was actually spot welded on as well. It did not break off very easily, and this is on purpose, with pliers. Now as for the actual links themselves holding together and not unraveling, we'll see. I like to wear my chain 24/7. If this last over 2 months, I'll def purchase another as a back up. It's less than twenty bucks. People are buying the same thing at zuimez and macys for like $80-100... ... show more

This chain appears to be made well and should not break under normal conditions. It is bright silver and matches my sterling silver crucifix. The clasp is strong and easy to use. The 3mm chain slides easily into the crucifix with room to spare. I recommend this chain for the value and beauty.

I always worry for how a stainless steel necklace would look when shining or just sitting on one’s neck. This necklace, while being very affordable, offers the best shine of all stainless steel chains I have owned and has the best silver color when sitting on your neck. I have many $150 stainless steel chains, but this $20 chain is the best. I can take showers, lift, and fall asleep in it without it worsening in any way.
