Oh my goodness. I bought this dress before Christmas and put it on her for photos for Christmas. It is definitely true to size. As a reference, my dog weighs 14 pounds, is a Shih Tzu and a size medium fits her perfectly. The fabric is nice and stretchy, therefore it’s easy to put on and take off. Purchased this as a present for my sister’s long haired chihuahua. My sister is a fashionista, and I wanted something high quality enough to match with the formal wear my sister was planning to wear. This little dog dress is almost TOO high quality, my friends. Plush velvet, shiny tulle that never snagged, an adorable bow! Felt luxurious right out of the package and looked even more enchanting on! It was very easy to get on, plus the closures didn’t snag her hair. It fit well, with a good allowance around the neckline. I love Fitwarm products. Sizing is not consistent. They are not cheap on quality or amount of fabric. Lean towards smaller sizes for dogs. My dog is 10# and some things end up being sleep wear. But the quality is there. My dog has at least 30 outfits.

8 lb yorkie needed a small. Very stretchy. Started with a medium following size chart. Go a size or two smaller than it says. Other than that, looks beautiful
