I originally purchased the FitPolo for the purpose of tracking my heart rate, especially during exercise. Although I walk 2-3 times a week, my main exercise is swimming. I found the Fitpolo easy to operate. However, it did not have the functionality to track my swimming distances. In contacted the company I was treated very well. I am thoroughly impressed with their customer service. They suggested I try this model, IDW15 Smart Watch. I am happy that this one does track swimming, at least on the watch. I just received this and thus have not been able to go swimming with it, yet. I do find it more of a challenge to navigate. There is soooo much more that this model offers, it will take me a bit to learn to get the most out of it. I was surprised to find that the watch displays an offering of more sports than does the corresponding app for the phone. I am anxious to discover if there is a way to keep a record of my swimming on the phone app. I was concerned that the face would be too large for my slight arms, but it is very comfortable. I am also love the way the band tucks in behind itself to keep it from flopping. Over all, I am very pleased. Since posting this first review I have gone swimming. I does keep track of swim stroke and calculates distance. I also found that once I used the swim activity it showed up on my phone, as well! ... show more

I have to admit I had given up on smart watches after a string of disappointments with fitbit and garmin. When my wife bought this for me and I saw the price, I thought it was just going to be a waste of money. Wow was I surprised. This watch has worked far better than the last garmin I had (which cost $300+). I get great sleep data from it. Battery life lasts a really long time. Touch screen actually works. I love my Fitpolo Smartwatch. I have Model IDW 15 and so far (since Oct 5, 2023) it has been working great. I primarily wear it to track my heart rate and blood pressure, and it seems to be quite accurate. I also track my sleep, and that has been especially accurate. I like that it even measures REM as well as respiration; others I've had only measure light and deep sleep. I also like to keep track of daily steps, and especially like that I can see text messages, incoming calls, and calendar items. The smartwatch also connects to our Alexa, and added bonus. I've been able to keep the charge for about 5-6 days, so that's great too. I highly recommend this Smartwatch from Fitpolo! ... show more

I only had this watch for a day and a half now but I do find it simple to use. I like the color choices. I like that you can download your own photo to use as a background. I like that it links up with an app and that the watch allows me to view my text messages and incoming calls right on the screen. I also like that I can control my playlist from my watch. I haven't checked out all the features of the watch yet but so far so good. I am a little disappointed that it does not link with the baritastic app (my nutrition and weight loss app) but... Seems as though not too many watches do link up to it. ... show more

I just received the watch today, and I am replacing an older Fitpolo watch that was starting to give out, but so far I'm very impressed. Many more features than the older watch, more interactive as well. I had a phone conversation with a family member this evening , and I didn't completely through the watch. Good microphone, good speaker. Having an entire conversation through my watch was pretty cool! If this watch lasts as long as my first Fitpolo, I'll be very happy! ... show more

I initially opted for the Fitbit Charge5, but it was a disappointing experience. The band caused skin irritation, and the limited support for exercises, particularly indoor rowing and golf (my favorites), led me to return it after just a week. In search of a better alternative, I purchased the Fitpolo ID205L. It was a marked improvement over the Fitbit, but it wasn't without its flaws. Like the Fitbit, it didn't support rowing or golf, and the touch screen in the lower right quadrant was unresponsive at times, requiring multiple presses. Despite these issues, I decided to keep the Fitpolo due to its reasonable price. After returning the first watch and receiving a replacement with the same problem, the seller reached out to me. I expressed my dissatisfaction, and they generously offered to send me their newer model at no charge, in exchange for an honest review. Now, having used the new model, I can confidently say that I LOVE THIS SMARTWATCH. It includes golf and rowing among its 100 built-in exercise options, and even allows for custom additions. The watch is packed with features, from standard fitness and health tracking (including sleep, spO2, and stress measurements) to unique functionalities like displaying local weather for three days and readable incoming text messages. What truly amazed me was the watch's ability to make and receive phone calls, thanks to its built-in microphone and speaker. I initially thought it would merely activate my phone, but the watch itself handles the calls, provided the phone is within range. The app is user-friendly and offers incredible functionality at a surprisingly low cost. Reflecting on my journey, I find myself grateful to Fitbit for inadvertently leading me to this superior product. The initial setback with the Fitbit's band turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as I ended up with a fantastic smartwatch that offers more features at less than half the price. ... show more
