These wraps are easy to use and keep gear and people safe. We secure hooks and weights to keep them from damaging the rods and reels. In addition they cover hooks easily to keep from accidentally catching someone.

The straps work great. The soft padding they're made out of protects my rods and secures them to the rings on the side of my fishing backpack. The straps are actually slightly longer than I was expecting, but that's better than them being too short. It was easy to just wrap the excess strap around itself on the rod, so no problem, and the velcro holds it all tightly. They seem sturdy enough, I've pulled and stretched them, and don't see any tearing on the stitching or anything. I don't believe having them fall apart will ever be an issue. Plus, it comes with a bunch of straps, which means I have extras. I'm pretty pleased with them overall, and would buy them again if I ever needed more. ... show more

    • All the Same Size - Too Small
The product appears to be of good quality but all the straps are the same size at 9.5" which is fine for the upper part of the rods but too small to wrap more than three rods on the bottom.
