  • Would not purchase again unless it was significantly discounted
My son really wanted this so I decided to buy it for him for Christmas. I'm sure he will love it but I'm very unimpressed. It's much smaller than anticipated and does nothing. No sounds. Just a chunk of plastic that is top heavy. I haven't even given it to him yet and shows some wear on the plastic. If your child is wanting this here is my advise, dont buy it at full price. I wouldnt pay more than maybe $20-25 for this toy ... show more

  • It doesn't do anything
Ever start writing a journal e try and at the begging everything is beautiful and makes sense the become sloppy and unable to understand? That is this toy ... the front is detailed and the back looks like the designer took the day off. It is made of flimsy plastic and and o ly the arms move.. it literally doesn't do anything .. it shoots some unfinished plastic darts .. I'm glad I got it on a lightning deal because there is no way I would have spent more than $20 on it .. however to a buzz obsessed little boy he is the happiest in the world. But to those still financially recovering after covid layoff its a lot of money for something that doesn't do anything or in the words of ham "quarter box of next years yardsale " ... show more

  • Overpriced and unimaginatively designed
Okay so my son was super excited about this toy- it was one of the main things he asked for for Xmas... when he opened it that was the last bit of excitement he had about this toy... first off it came in frustration free packaging which I was unaware of so there was zero wow factor when he opened it. I wish I had realized that before ordering it to be honest but oh well. Anyway, the commercial for this toy gave my son the impression that the arm moves on its own (it does not). There’s very little to do with this toy- the “rocket” comes off the top but the rest of the toy is just a large, cumbersome shell that doesn’t do anything. It’s big and takes up tons of space but it simply isn’t something my boys have played with since receiving it (3 and 5 yo). Such a disappointment for the $40 price tag. There are other toy story imaginext sets that are more fun and better made than this giant hunk of plastic. ... show more

  • Son loves it!
Our son loves Toy Story and has just started getting into the Imaginext series of toys. He received Buzz for Christmas and has enjoyed many adventures already with this set. The size is appropriate for a 3-5 yr old child to be able to handle and maneuver. The features are age appropriate for dexterity and function. It encourages imaginative play while being interactive and engaging enough to hold a child's interest for longer periods of play. ... show more

  • Son was happy.
Was a last minute Santa present that my son kept asking for. He was really happy to see it when he work up Christmas morning. I would give 5 stars, but it did not come in its actual box like you get when buying in a store. All the pieces were in a bag inside the spaceship. Kinda like it was used and returned. This meant changing up how our "elves" set up the kids presents. Also it comes in a box with its description on the side so remember to ask for it to be shipped in a Amazon box at check out if it's a gift. ... show more

  • Not a lot of playability
This is just a weird toy. Look at the pictures, front and back, and make sure you understand they product. It sells itself almost as a play set as the back of the toy is open and almost an unfinished look, but there isn’t much to actually do with it. My child did spend about 30 mins stacking figures on its ledges, but that was the end of the toy’s use. I would regret this if it was not heavily discounted. ... show more

  • Not worth $50....
I only bought this toy because it was on sale for $24, and since my son likes toy story I thought it would be a good buy. Imaginext normally has great products and we love their toys, but this one isn't one of their better toys especially for $50. There isn't much to it. It is large, and comes with a small Buzz and alien. Overall for $24 it was a good buy, but at $50 no way. ... show more

  • Indestructible you, worth every penny.
This toy is HUGE!!! My 4yo asked for it for Christmas so online I went to find it as he saw it in the toy magazine and I can’t fight people in the stores anymore lol it has withstood falling down stairs multiple times, car rides, trips to the park, three kids fighting over all wanting it and he still loves playing with it today and we are at the end of February. If you kids love Toy Story 4 And are rough on toys this is a great for them. ... show more
