The book has good information in it but it was shipped loose, in a large box and the cover was bent when I got it. Easy to read and nice pictures showing some techniques. Perfect for a real beginner; explains findings, tools and different types of beads and metal clay.

Great Book for Beginners which touches on every Aspect of Jewellery Making. The Print is Large enough (not a strain on The Eyes) and the Pictures are Clear ti illustrate what is being taught.

I make jewelry, for a living. I bought First Time Jewelry Making: The Absolute Beginner's Guide, for a granddaughter, who is interested in learn the craft, and lives 3,000 miles away. Since I cannot teach her hands on, I bought this book for her. Of course, I looked it over before sending it to her. I was pleased by the book's thoroughness, in vocabulary terms, explanations, and "show-and-tell" pictures. My granddaughter is pleased with it, too. ... show more
