I immediately LOVE this thing! I just received it and put it on- haven't washed it yet, so mind you it's super wrinkly in the pictures from the packaging, but it is EXACTLY as pictured! It stretched over the hood, so it's not as close to his face as if the hood was collapsed. I like that a lot. I've never had a stretchy car seat cover before because I never liked how close they were to babies face and feeling like they "hot box" kids. But this one sold me on the screen mesh part and that it stretched over the opened hood. The window cover velcros up to just have the screen part down. The soft fabric inside is thinner than the covers made with furry material, but it will still cut down on the wind and cold all around, so good to use a blanket inside still and good to go! ... show more

There's lot's to love about this. It's absolutely adorable. The fabric is soft and well insulated. It provides great additional protection from wind, sun, and cold. It does not interfere with the normal function of the car seat in any way. The only issue I've had, and while manageable does seem like a design oversight, is that that fasteners that close the flap secure much more firmly than the elastic keeping the cover attached to the carseat as a whole, so you're always running the risk of pulling the whole thing off when you open it. ... show more

I really like this car seat cover because it has such a practical and convenient design. The soft interior is just wonderful to keep the baby cozy warm when it’s cold outside. The exterior fabric has a nice gray and white stripe design, and it adds a decent layer of protection against the elements. It’s really easy to put this cover on the car seat by just wrapping the elastic edging around the seat. Then you just have to secure the four straps on the handle and hinges, and it’s ready to go. The front panel can open making it fairly easy to get the baby out without having to take the whole cover off. Also, there is a mesh panel layer under the external flap that is breathable, and it’s perfect for letting baby see out but not letting any bugs in. The only criticism I have about the flaps is that I wish they weren’t plastic snap buttons, which are so tedious to secure, especially if you’re in a hurry. Zippers would have been far more convenient in my opinion. However, thinking about how practical this is, I would say that this cover does a decent job and would make a nice baby shower gift, too. ... show more

This is a great all in 1 cover that is perfect for these cold temps. Super cute, breathable, blocks the snow & wind. Had a bug screen but this might be too warm to use during the summer.

This trumps all other baby canopy covers I have or that are sold. This does it all. It has the warm binky soft inside. The open/close cover is perfect. I guess you would only put it down in rain or snow or cold - as you would want airflow. The built in mosquito net is perfect. Again - if there are mosquitos out and they bite me, I am inside and not out pushing the baby. But the screen is good to keep others out. The grey neutral tone again is perfect. I first had the basic binky cover - but you could not see the baby when carrying it - or when the cover is on. But for a winter baby I wanted to cut down on cold drafts of air getting to baby. I did buy a winter one - but that has a plastic shield over the baby face for rain or snow - but I am in a state that has rare winter days, so I wanted something warm for the stroller rides, or food store runs. This has it all - I can go to the store, take the baby- and hands that want to touch the baby's cute little cheeks are prevented from touching her as the netting is there. For where I live - this will for sure work for 2 of the seasons. For our hot, hot summer months it may not work - it might be too warm with the binky and not enough air flow. Maybe I need a twist on fan for the car seat and then it would work. ... show more

Pros: Keeps baby warm Blocks wind and sun Has a bug screen Cons: Can’t get a baby older than newborn in and out easily because you can’t put the carry arm down. Not easy to tack the bug screen up out of the way like with the top layer. Hangs down too low towards baby unless you tie the straps instead of using the Velcro attachment. Over all the product does what it is intended to do but for bigger babies it’s not practical if you’re going to be taking baby in and out regularly. It will however be useful to me during the colder months when o have baby in the stroller as he’s just riding along not needed to be taken in and out. ... show more
