I feel these filters really help clean the air. I write the date I install them and the date I want to replace them on the filter so I can always know where I am in the cycle. I replace them every three months unless my dog is shedding and then I replace them more often.

I will start this review with this statement: Prior to utilizing this Filtrete Filter I had to dust every day. I have dark furniture and I could see a dusty white film (like talcum powder on my furniture) it was a pain dusting all the time. A friend told me about Filtrete Filters. I'm so happy that I learned about the Filtrete Filter because of the superior job that it does to filter out particles thus protecting my HVAC system providing optimal airflow in my HVAC system too. Filtrete helps to protect my heating/cooling system, thus improving my indoor air quality by cleaning the air as it passes through the filter. The Filtrete Filter technology is impressive! I can't say it enough, this filter is awesome! As soon as this filter was installed I noticed the level of dust diminished dramatically to the point where I don't have to dust daily and I can go longer than a week without dusting. My house is 110 years old and is ALWAYS dusty. Also, I have horrible allergies, so I am very sensitive to air quality. We have air filters in every room and also installed these filters. They make a good difference! They do need replacing fairly often, but that only means they are collecting the dust that is sucked up.
