Description

Fiebing's Saddle Soap PasteFiebing's signature product. Used all over the world on fine saddlery, boots, shoes and other smooth leather articles. Cleans leather and lubricates the fibers to prevent brittleness, all the while maintaining suppleness and strength. It is highly recommended to use a leather conditioner or neatsfoot oil after use, as all soaps will deplete the natural oil in the leather and eventually cause it to dry out.Colors: Yellow, Black, White12 oz. can

This stuff cleans a dirty boot finish super-quick when used with a good shoe brush applicator and some water. Boots still need polishing (at least) tho, and maybe also recoloring.

I usually don't post Amazon reviews, let alone include photos, but I had to for this product. I bought this to clean and polish my Frye boots that have gotten tons of wear. I've had these boots for almost 7 years and I've been caught in rain, snow, and salt with them, so they were in need of a deep clean and condition. I used the Fiebing's White Saddle Soap to clean them first and then finished/polished them with the Fiebing's Black Boot Cream and I was truly impressed with the results. I wish I had remembered to take a before photo, but you can see that the cream totally restored the shine, whereas they were dull from being exposed to wet conditions before. So far, I’ve gone crazy with cleaning and conditioning all the leather in my house: theater seats, jackets, wallets, steering wheels, and bags. I’ve used a number of specialty cleaners and conditioners especially with auto detailing, but this might be the first product I’ve used that leaves the finish and feel better than new. Smooth grain and more full grain leathers come out clean, smooth, and natural looking and very soft if you use enough. I can’t say there’s much protection offered here, but that’s not what I use it for nor what I think it’s for. Highly recommend! ... show more
