Used this screen to replace the old screens on my porch. Not as strong as metal screen, but it won't corrode in a year. Went up easy stretches' just enough to tighten without creating folds. Very happy with the price and quality.

This is great screen. It is so easy to cut, but great enough quality that it didn't rip when we put them in the window. I bought 100 feet and was able to do 12 windows (various sizes). Visibility is great!

Install was much easier than anticipated. Make sure to get a spline roller (cheap tool) and try to save and reuse your existing spline (the thin rubber tube that holds it in place) if it is not decayed. 1. cut screen length and position the screen 2. roll one section of the screen into the groove with one side of spline roller tool 3. push spline into groove with other side of tool 4. continue for all sections around the screen frame; make sure to tighten screen as you go 5. trim screen outside spline with scissors or razor This fiberglass screen was much more sturdy than my original screen and it resists pet damage well. My 80lb dog accidentally ran into the refurbished screen door while it was closed and it just popped some spline out, which I reinstalled easily. Before when my dog did this, she broke through the old screen like the Kool-Aid Man. So, this screen was a big improvement. (We also will install a magnet warning sign on the screen so she doesn't do it again.) ... show more

We have blueberry bushes and have tried the 1/4” bird netting to keep the birds away the last several years. But when trying to remove the netting to pick berries, it would always get caught on the berries themselves, and we’d end up pulling unripe berries off. I’d been telling my husband to try this, but for some reason, he was being stubborn. When he asked me to help out the netting up this year and we were fighting it like usual, I told him I wasn’t doing this this year and walked right in the house to order this product!! While we still have the bird netting stuck on one plant, this screen has been a life (and marriage) saver this year!! Would def recommend using this instead of bird netting!! ... show more
