Installed using Fey 92230 mounting kit on a 1996 F150 4x4. Fit fine and seems to meet all my expectations. My only complaint was that I had to file down the plastic inserts for the license plate screws to get them to insert into the bumper. They were a little too large.

    • Rust, rust, rust
This bumper installed easily enough but was not an exact fit. I had to remove two diagonal supports that went from the frame of the vehicle to the ends of the bumper. This replacement bumper had no way of utilizing them. Now rust. The first year I had to de-rust the bumper twice, then I waxed it which seemed to help a little. The second year the rust started pitting the chrome... more cleaning and waxing was needed. The third year I gave up and now at 4 years it looks 20 years old. The front bumper is the orginal and still looks less than a year old. The warranty is only 3 years and now I have no recourse. I wish I had returned it under warranty a couple years ago. ... show more

Bumper looks pretty good, install was simple. I used all my original hardware. Leaving 4 stars because the edges on the under and backsides of the bumper are razor sharp, I will need to grind down or bead something over them to protect my curious kids’ heads

I ordered this to replace a damaged bumper on my 1997 F350. I have not installed it yet, however all of the mounting lines up with existing frame. Item came undamaged and shipping was fast, I am very pleased. As noted by others, you should always wax well after installing, All chrome will rust and p-it if not taken care of. ... show more

The bumper I received did come with the license plate lights contrary to my initial review. I found it where I opened the box & I didn’t notice. The bumper is very flimsy & lighter compared to the factory and does not wrap around the back of my truck as the factory one did. It has a mount for trailer hitch, but I don't believe these bumpers are sturdy enough to handle much weight or stress. There is zero support anywhere other than in the very center of the bumper where the mounts are bolted. This all being said, it’s the best option for the money that I could find. ... show more
