The Westin DiamondStep is traditionally known as the utility bumper with an embossed steel step plate and a functional diamond tread design. This bumper features 7-gauge steel hitch plate with a 1-inch center hole to accommodate a hitch ball. The DiamondStep rear bumper is silver powdercoated for a durable and rust resistant finish. This bumper requires a universal series mounting kit for an easy, no drill installation.

The seller should absolutely change the description color to a shiny gray, it would improve your reviews hugely. As to the bumper, exactly what I wanted and fit perfectly on my 96' F-150. I installed this myself and it was a snap and didn't even need the spacers. 2 of the bolts didn't have accompanying nuts but no biggie. With a 8,000 lb. towing capacity I'm good. P.S. I used it on a 1986 Dodge to replace the bumper after getting rear ended by a semi. It was easy to install as the pickup had a Fey Industries bumper on it when I bought the truck. Looks good to me.

I was very surprised at how FAST, this item arrived. It was ordered, and 2-days later it was here. This is an exceptional value for the price. Fit on the back of a 1992 F-150 like it was made for it. Package included, 2 plate lights, and 2 plate screws as well.

I bought a replacement bumper for my 1984 C10. The bumper is well made, with good quality and coverage of the powder coating. It installed easily, and the back-up lights are upgrades to LEDs. Highly recommended.

    • Solid Bumper, Misleading Color Description
The Westin 20002 Fey DiamondStep Silver Rear Utility Bumper is as heavy-duty as my original 1982 Dodge bumper, and the fit is perfect. What is annoying: prominent mention of the color "silver" in the product description. It is plain misleading. There is no 'silver' anywhere: the color of the bumper is an ugly primer-gray with a greenish hue, which is not found as a standard bumper color on any truck I know of- old or new. The license plate and lighting hardware enclosed is another disappointment: there are two (rather than the required four) nylon clips for re-installing the license plate, and they don't fit the square holes of the new bumper, but first need to be ground down; and the cheesy chromed plastic license plate light fixtures don't exactly win style points either. (Transplanting my original Dodge light fixtures also does not work: the pre-drilled holes in the bumper are too small, and the bumper's metal is too thick to drill them larger.) Another reviewer mentioned "LED" bulbs. The bulbs and fixtures in the accessory package are of the standard incandescent type. All in all, a barely acceptable solution for someone who does a restoration project on a beloved older truck. Anyone with a source for a well-made, original-colored silver bumper: please speak up! ... show more
