This thing is made of the wrong kind of plastic. It’s very thin and brittle. A leg was already broken off on arrival. Two tiny plastic tacks were lying loose in the bottom of the box. I don’t know how many there are supposed to be but they could easily fall through gaps in the box. I would have sent it back but the delivery man and I couldn’t get it all back in the box. I might try to glue the leg back on but I don’t think it’s worth the time and trouble. It’s damn aggravating that crap like this is produced and sold by reputable companies. I also bought two heating pads for the dog from the same company but I haven’t used them yet. I hope they are better quality than this mess. ... show more

I was extremely irritated to find that for $200 we clearly received a used/opened house. There were only two small plastic screws loose at the bottom of the box (not in plastic). All other screws and dial things, the door way seal, and the vent cover were missing! The product box (which was inside another box) was re-taped and bent up with pieces of original plastic wrapper stuck in the tape as well. The quality control is awful for so many pieces to have been missing. We literally couldn't put it together as even all four tighteners at the top were missing! To repackage an opened, and apparently returned product without even checking to see if a bag of screws and the door frame was in the box is ridiculous. I was too afraid of receiving another second-hand product for the price of a new one (and the plastic isn't worth $200 to begin with), so I just returned if for a refund. ... show more

I got this house for my 3 ducks. They had a wooden one, but it got moldy. I opted for plastic to avoid molding issues. I love the easy open side panel for cleaning out bedding. It took 15 min to assemble. Instructions are ikea style; pictures but no words.

Right out of the box. Step one was to put together the entrance door. A metal horseshoe provided needed to be inserted into the the curve of the entrance. After inserting it, there were two screws that needed to be screwed in at the base.Here's the issue. You can't screw it in unless you have a electric screw driver bc there is no hole on the bottom of where you need to screw it into. So, we said screw it. The total set came with eights screws. We couldn't figure out where the rest of the six screws belong to. Even after watching the tutorial about thirty times. It took us about and hour and a half and finally said screw the screws, slap it together with the side walls and the roof had four washers that kept it tight. Five days later its still holding up. But very unhappy that we couldn't find where to screw in the six other damn screws. Love the product but the info both on the directions and the video really sucked. ... show more

This dog house is BIG! I saw some reviews about how the dog house is smaller than expected so I made the purchase for the Large size. Upon arrival and assembling it, this thing is bigger than expected. I have 2 small english bulldogs that will be sharing this and even with 2 of them, there is still a lot of room. The instructions on how to assemble this thing is pretty much useless. Just gotta put it together using common sense. ... show more
