Easy to install but a little time consuming. Do yourself a favor and use a nail to make the holes, the brass attachments are difficult to get thru the tape. I’m not sure how well the product will do with time because it was just recently installed but it looks promising I’ll update and issues

Overall, I'm happy with the final product. Definitely tedious to do but worth it. Not sure how long the brass brads will hold up, but repairing/replacing will be easy. I've included a pic. I have an ugly stump imbedded in the fence, so that was a bit of a hassle, but it went up fairly easily. I did it myself, so I had to figure out a "system". I started the weave from the top so it all looked the same. When I got to the bottom, I secured there 1st, pulled up the slack and then secured the top. I used a cheapie little knife point to make a starter hole in the strip. The brads are cheap and bend, so they need a head start. I may run another set of strips the opposite direction for max wind blocking, I haven't decided yet. Looks good, does the job. Would I want to do a long stretch of fencing? Uh, no and definitely not if I was doing it myself. Phone a friend to make this little project easier, but you can definitely do it yourself. ... show more

Great product equal to the ones they sell at Home Depot. The product itself is vinyl and I needed pure white. It took a handful of fence weaving parties to get it done but the finished product looks amazingly good considering I paid around $500 instead to do over 200 feet rather than having to pay over $5,000 for vinyl fencing. There is a learning curve to this. We happened to have these 3m small cutters that came with a scissors pack from Costco that worked really well when you secure the top with the brads and end on the bottom with the brads. We learned that majority of the fencing was of the same length so one person measured it out over 2 tables and did all the cutting. One person did the running back & forth. The weaving itself is quick but getting the brads on is the challenge especially when your fingers get sore from touching metal for long periods. Make sure you leave a generous enough fold over on the top & bottom so you're not fighting to secure the brads. While folding over, make a tiny slit to pierce the 2 layers then insert the Brad and spread the backside to secure it. If you try to use the Brads itself to pierce the hole it will keep bending over itself & you'll be fighting a losing battle. Even oversized slits did not affect the outcome. Of course I was grateful for all the help so I provided all the drinks, snacks and meals to make it as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It's been 2 months since it's been up and has weathered rains, humidity and scorching heat. Still looking good. I'm glad Amazon had it I white. Home Depot only hand the tan. ... show more

    • Great privacy gate cover for nosy dogs or people

I got this because my dogs are very nosy which like to watch for people and other dogs to bark at them. Having this Chain Link Fence Privacy Tape ( it isn't tape exactly more like a bendable vinyl strip) has pretty much halted all the barking from my dogs since they can't see others but still can smell them when close enough (beagles have great noses for smelling and loud voices). This went on very easy. Weaving the strips through the chain link fence was easy and simple. The only issue - one of poppers which is used to close the strip closed came undone. We are veterans with not so great hands and fingers so it took a bit and used a tool to make it fully snap close but i am sure people without this issue won't have any issues. Which is the only reason I gave a 4 star on installation. I have had this up for months and no issues not even when we just got a blizzard. I do recommend. 5 Stars!! ... show more

I bought so many of these, I did my whole 6Ft fence. It looks so nice however It’s more see through then I would like. It’s very time consuming to add it to the fence. I suggest taking your time. Do one box a day. Or just hire someone to do it. Edges of the fence are the hardest. Each strip is a different length. But middle areas i sold just measure it once and count how many rows I needed and measure them all out before hand. Take something sharp to punch a hole before using the grommets. Over all the quality is good the strips are waterproof and hold up nice even when I walked the, with a weedwacker. However I wish they offered more privacy. Head on they work great but at any angle looking at the fence the visibility through the fence is very clear. The fence sure dose look nice with it though. ... show more

I’ve had this tape on two fence gates for 4-5 years and it has held up really well, I needed to do another fence that went from 10 feet to 5 feet so could not use the slats The slats are expensive and this method is cost effective, the chain link openings on this fence are smaller than my gates and it is very good at privacy on the fences I also put some shade cloth on the back side and that worked well for privacy also This is a great product ... show more

Installed slowly, but easily. We used a nail to punch a hole before sticking the brad through, otherwise the brads just bend.
