Just got this in the mail a few hours ago. I had some purple shampoo tint in my hair to begin with so my hair didn't match the color of the extensions. But after I used some dandruff shampoo and blow dried my hair I'd say it matches pretty well! It's never going to be a perfect match when it comes to blonde (unless you get your hair matched to your extensions) but, it's pretty damn close I'd say. ❤️ I think it matches well enough to at least fool people in the evening. It is one solid color though with no variation so it is "wig-ish" in that regaurd but, i kind of like that look with my silver platinum bits. So if you have any tint to your platinum silver you may need to strip it. And I reccomend not using it the week you plan on wearing the extensions. Also it's the lightest of the light, I'm surprised my hair is actually light enough to be even close. 🤍☁️ (My hair still has some banding my stylist is trying to brighten when I took too long between appointments to touch my roots but we're carefully taking it in steps so my hair doesnt fry off 🙈) As Brad Mondo says tho, the tips should be lighter than the roots so that's why I think these extensions look somewhat ok even though they aren't a perfect match. I have yet to see it in the sun light though. I still have to learn how to wear it securely but I would definitely recommend using a scrunchy or bow to cover the bit of clip that peeks through the top (You can see the bit of clip in one of my review pictures-the top of my head). Besides that it is soft, and not too shiny imo. The style is cute with loose curls which I like, normall i have straight hair but saw the questionable reviews for the straight version of the platinum silver extensions. So far I'm pretty satisfied. ❤️ I haven't tested to see how bad it tangles but I'll try to remember to update on that once I wear it more. I'm praying it looks good in sunlight and I can wear it to run errands since thats the main reason i bought it. 🥺🙏 But if it doesn't at least I know I can wear it to parties n stuff with indoor lighting no problem! ❤️ So far the only negative thing worth noting is the clip that pokes out but that can be EASILY hidden. ❤️ ... show more

I love this ponytail extension. Very easy to install and comfortable. It also looks great. Not sure about how tangled it gets yet since it's new but so far seems okay as long as I don't touch it too much. I think this is how it is in general with most synthetic hair pieces like this, however.

Was really happy at how thick and long this thing was. I was also so happy at how it matched my natural hair so well! I wish the claw was a little bit bigger. I don’t have very thick hair, but trying to put my hair in a bun and clip it over was difficult as the claw was too small. I also noticed that it gets tangled soooo quick. I try running my fingers through it and it’s so ratty. I constantly brush it and it tangles right back up. That’s probably because it’s synthetic. But for the money it’s worth it! ... show more

At first I was worried it wouldn't match my hair but it matched perfectly. It's so easy to wear. I have short hair so I just placed it in a ponytail then clipped the hair extension clip right over my ponytail and it turned out beautiful! I've gotten so many compliments.

I have very fine and somewhat thin hair so seeing my hair in photos when I’m wearing this makes me feel hot! Am I finally inspiring hair envy in others? 😆 I just ordered a second one because I dye my hair black. It’s naturally a slightly dark mousy brown so it fades. When I first got this it was a perfect match and now my hair is a little lighter. Till passes the across the room test but it’s back to black this weekend so I ordered one to match. It says to use hair oil but this is synthetic so I bought the silicone spray in the photo. Smells great and keeps the hair as silky as when it first arrived. Makes combing out the tangles possible. I’ve been using for about a month and have nothing negative to say. Great use of money! It is a little heavy I’m moderately sensitive to that maybe slightly more and it’s fine for long day but if you’re very sensitive don’t get the long one! The clip is little as well. I have no problem getting it around my ponytail though. And it has great coverage. No one can easily tell it’s fake. ... show more

Overall, it is well made for the low price. I chose a highlighted dark brown color. I have what I think of as dark brown hair with soft blond highlights and soft caramel highlights. The tones of the ponytail lean more toward ashy tones. I’m growing my hair out but it is not yet quite long enough to have enough hair to pull back and affix the ponytail clip to. And then there is the question whether a woman in her 70s even needs an 18” ponytail 🥹 so I may keep it and cut off 6”, and let my hair grow out a couple more inches before going out in public with this. ... show more
